I was very disappointed that the parking lot across from the Center required a parking pass for most of the spots. There was aproximently 25% of spots available but you needed a pass. I liked that the event was opened to standing room only after all the seating was sold out. Too bad that the crowd was not in it. My seats were actually good despite how late I purchased tickets.

Creighton Bluejays Men's Basketball History
The Creighton University Bluejays of Omaha, Nebraska launched their men’s basketball program in 1911. The team remained independent until 1922, when the Bluejays joined the North Central Conference and immediately won the conference title in their first season under head coach Arthur A. Schabinger. The Bluejays moved to the Missouri Valley Conference for the 1928-29 season and won the conference title in three consecutive years from 1930 to 1932. Schabinger’s successor, Eddie Hickey, led the team to their first NCAA Tournament during the 1940-41 season. They would appear in the tournament again in 1962 and 1964 under coach Red McManus, finishing in the Sweet Sixteen stage, followed by the same result in 1974.
Although Creighton began as an independent program, and have spent the majority of their existence in the Missouri Valley Conference, the team has been a member of the Big East since the 2013-14 season. Under current head coach Greg McDermott, the Bluejays have claimed one regular season championship in the Big East, tying for first in the 2019-20 season, and appeared in five consecutive March Madness tournaments. Along with Sweet Sixteen runs in 2021 and 2024, the Bluejays reached the Elite Eight in 2023.
Creighton has ushered several players into the NBA, including Paul Silas, Kevin McKenna, Benoit Benjamin, Kyle Korver, Anthony Tolliver and Doug McDermott.

Theres no where better than the C-Link
by JoshuaH4 on 1/31/12CenturyLink Center Omaha - OmahaRating: 5 out of 5The C-link has to be one of the top revues for college basketball. The crowd atmosphere is incredible. All the workers as well as other fans are extremely nice and helpful if you cannot find your seat. I have yet to find a bad seat in the C-Link. The best place to watch a game or go to a concert.
sound system needs improvement at Creighton game
by Anonymous on 1/30/12CenturyLink Center Omaha - OmahaRating: 2 out of 5For a basketball game, it is a good venue to watch, but you could not hear the announcer in the upper level. The big screen could have zoomed in on more of the players, so when you are in the nosebleed area, you could still see some close ups of the game. Overall it was a fun activity, if you like basketball, but not sure if I would want to sit in the upper seats for a concert, as you have poor acousitcs.

Our family had a great time. We didn't have any problems buying, printing or using our tickets. Although our seats were very high up we still could enjoy the game. The audio in the upper seats could be better but overall a fun time was had by all.

facilities are nice, outcome of the event was not what I was hoping for.

Creighton basketball has more of a boring NBA atmosphere then a college basketball atmosphere. The cheerleaders and band did nothing to get the crowd involved and every timeout was a stupid corporate sold game or ad. The student section was not loud and arena in general only cheered a few times in a game that was close for 30 minutes. Overall the game atmosphere lacked passion and energy which ultimately means you should watch the game in the comfort of you own home and save your money!
Creighton vs Nebraska
by flare1 on 12/6/11CenturyLink Center Omaha - OmahaRating: 1 out of 5That was the worst seat I've ever bought for any event. We bought our 2 seats about 2 weeks before the game and it said 'Best Available'. And we got the very top row. I thought I'd have to pack my nose with gauze. And there were seats all over the arena. Hard to believe those were the best available. Sorry!

I love watching Creighton basketball games. The team is great this year!
seats
by jays11 on 3/30/11Qwest Center Omaha - OmahaRating: 4 out of 5Good game-questionable seats-several empty seats better than the last row-cannot believe these were the best available seats we could get -we would have paid much more for closer seats!
