    CCR... WOW!!!

by Avantare on 7/14/09DTE Energy Music Theatre - Clarkston

I grew up listening to the original CCR but never had a chance to see them. I went to WCSX's web site to listen live and saw CCR was coming. Went to Ticketmaster right away and purchased 2 pavilion seats. 4th row just right of center stage! Awesome! Being that close I felt they were putting on a private concert for myself and a few of my friends. They played all their Hits as well. The couple of things that really stood out was their chemistry, they LOVE and ENJOY what they do. Touring is not a job to them, they're living their dream. Second best part. when I went to purchase tickets and saw I'm getting two seat as mentioned above for about $95 THAT is what impressed me for a 60's-70's group charging that little. Ticket prices have kept me away from seeing The Eagles, CS&N, CSN&Y, Fleetwood Mac, et-al. But as long as CCR charges a fair price I will go whenever they go on tour. Spend the money to go if you can afford to. This group was well worth every penny I spent. Avantare

CCR is as great as ever!

by ItzMomzTurn on 7/14/09DTE Energy Music Theatre - Clarkston

Our summer wouldn't be complete without a CCR concert. They are one of the few bands who can play one hit, after another, after another, throughout an entire concert. Their lead singer alone is worth the price of admission. What a showman! The entire group plays off one another. They all seem to enjoy what they're doing which makes it even more fun for the audience to see.

    Revisited Appreciated

by HugeCCRFan on 7/13/09Wheeling Island Showroom - Wheeling

Great job on all songs by the band. Saw them at Wheeling Island. Had front row seats and Doug Clifford and Stu Cook not only played very well but looked like they were having a great time. Stu Cook was smiling through the whole concert, it added a lot to the fun of the evening. Johnny Bulldog on lead vocals was superb and he is such a fun entertainer, a real goof on stage, great stuff! I have been a fan since I was in high school in the late 60's and the great thing was that I was able to share the evening and my favorite music with my son who attended with me. To Stu and Doug, KEEP PLAYING, we are loving it! My daughter is going to see them when they play at the Alaska State Fair. Great job and great fun!

    creedence was awesome

by momma62 on 7/13/09Wheeling Island Showroom - Wheeling

The music was amazing, the crowd was totally into the concert. Everyone had a great time. The only thing I would change is the location. It was a bit too crowded the chairs were too close together. No room to groove.

    Great time

I really enjoyed the show. The venue was very small and intimate, compared to what I am used to.

    CCR

by mbminor on 7/12/09Wheeling Island Showroom - Wheeling

On May 22, 2009 I saw Creedence Clearwater Revisited and thought the group was as close as you could get without all the original members. They talked enough but not too much. The only thing that I was really dissatisfied with would be the way they packed people into the Wheeling Island Showroom. Even though it was reserved seating only - the chairs were so close, not only side to side but front and back. It was so tight that it was restricting being cramped together like that. Any type of show would be more enjoyable had there a little breathing room.

    Creedence unbelievable

by DapperDan on 7/12/09Wheeling Island Showroom - Wheeling

Event was well worth the money. Some people in the sitting area got upset from people standing and dancing. They evidently don't go to many concerts. Great time.

    quazi creedence

by redsville on 7/12/09Wheeling Island Showroom - Wheeling

I enjoyed the concert, but I was disappointed in the fact that I was told it was the original band. John Fogerty was not there. He is pretty much the band being the lead singer. The only original members were the bass and drummer but they were awesome, and the lead singer did a good job but still wasn't Fogerty.

    Foot Stompin' & Chair Dancin'

by Punani on 7/6/09Las Vegas Hilton - Las Vegas

Great concert. I love CCR. Fantastic sound, vocals, and energy. Needs to be longer though. 1 hour 45 minutes is not enough. 2.5 hour concert would be better.

CCR still knows how to ROCK!!!

by fairgoer on 7/4/09Del Mar Fairgrounds - Del Mar

CCR still has what it takes to bring down the house. They sang many songs and gave shout outs to the audience. It was great to see them live. I only wish they would have sang longer. It seems that concerts now a days are not long enough. Oeverall, CCR did a fantastic job and delivered a great performance.

    Good but not GREAT!

by Tracy5 on 7/3/09Del Mar Fairgrounds - Del Mar

We go to several concerts a year and at least one or two at the fair. And while we had a good time and nice weather, we thought Creedence was good but not GREAT. Last year we saw The Guess Who and they were EXCELLENT! Really rocked like the ole days. Seems to me the sound was better than too? Not sure if groups always use the fairs speaker system or bring their own? But the sound was more muffled this time. Creedence did sing all their best and we did have a good time. I would say if your a big fan of CCR you'll have a good time at their concert.

EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE!!! THE PERFORMANCE OF THE THREE REPLACEMENTS, COULD HAVE BEEN MISTAKEN AS BEING MEMBERS OF THE FORTY YEAR OLD ORIGINAL BAND.
