About

Creed is a multi-platinum rock band formed in Tallahassee, Florida in 1994. The band, comprising lead vocalist Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti (guitar/vocals), Brian Marshall (bass), and Scott Phillips (drums), has sold over 53 million albums worldwide. Their 1999 album Human Clay — which features the hit single "With Arms Wide Open" — is one of the best-selling albums of all time in the U.S. "With Arms Wide Open" topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song in 2001. The post-grunge act disbanded in 2004, but have reunited twice: In 2009, they reunited to release their fourth album Full Circle and embark on multiple tours. Creed reunited for a second time in July 2023, and will embark on a massive run of tour dates in 2024.

  • Creed rocked!

by dickerdawg on 8/27/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

It was nice to see Creed back together again. I have seen them 2 other times before they broke up and this show was close to the same energy level as before. I felt they should have played longer... just a little over an hour and a half was not enough. As before, the pyrotechnics and lights were awesome.

  • Creed was Awesome

The concert was one of the best I have ever been to. The energy of the band was contagious. Creed had the whole place up and rocking. I would go see them again in a second if they were anywhere close to me.

An amazing thing happened when Creed reunited and decided to put out a new album and start touring again. Rejoice, Rejoice!!! They are the rock stars of the world and their preformance is the ultimate show of the decade. The music was great, the pyrotechnics were great, and the raw energy was contagious. I woke up the next day with a sore throth and no voice, but it was definately worth it and I would do it all over a million times more. Creed is awesome!!!!! I can only hope they rock on in Detroit many more times.

  • OK Show

by Bored2Death on 8/27/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 4 out of 5

This was my first time seeing Creed & it was just OK. My boyfriend saw them in 2001 & he said they were a lot better this time. He loved the show last night at Blossom in Ohio, but I thought it was just OK...

  • Great to see them back together, but average show

by LeslieChow on 8/27/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 3 out of 5

As a long-time Creed fan, seeing the guys back together playing all the oldies was an incredible feeling. The musicians were great, but the only iffy area was Scott Stapp. He just doesn't have the vocal range he used to. He made some mistakes, he couldn't spit out some words at times, and he'd take some vocal shortcuts (like not maintaining the "Ohhh..." during My Own Prison). He wasn't bad by any means, and he put on a good show, but it's just a little obvious that his voice is starting to go. Which is a shame for someone his age. For that reason, I'd definitely recommend seeing these guys, because who knows much longer Scott'll be singing with them. But if you're looking for a perfect performance, you might want to look elsewhere.

  • creed played 75 minutes

by missnovajan on 8/27/09DTE Energy Music Theatre - ClarkstonRating: 3 out of 5

band sounded good; scott's voice was off. Maybe his voice has deepened in the last couple of years. I went and saw scott and his solo gig at Clutch Cargos 2 years ago and he sounded much better. I also saw Creed in 2001 at the Thomas and Mack center in vegas and he sounded better. I am not sure I remember Creed being so mellow but they definitely played a lot of ballads. I also saw the band when they were alter bridge w/o scott and they were very good. Concert was worth seeing for those that have never seen Creed before but they were a little mellow for my standards. a good concert for the ladies and for die hard fans. For fringe fans probably not worth the investment. Also they did not sell out and if you have been apart for 7 years and can not sell out in the detroit area, then something is amiss. they also let out at 10:15 pm :(

  • Creed was AMAZING!

by buckeyemama on 8/27/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

Let's forget about the fact that I have a bit of a crush on Scott Stapp...this show was AMAZING! Creed puts on quite a show! Between Stapp's vocals (which were awesome!) and Tremonti's raw talent it was hard not to get goosebumps. The stage show was well thought out and planned...ultimately one of the very best concerts that I've been to! Great crowd, great talent. Also loved opening group Like A Storm! Great opening choice guys! Thanks for the reunion! It was LONG overdue!

  • By all means....don't miss the next show!

by tugsboat on 8/27/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

3 Bands....3 A+ The only drawback to this concert was that Mazilla & Like a Storm weren't able to play longer. I just bought tickets to the show in Cincinnati for tomorrow, & in Columbus on 9/02. A Gotta See Show. You won't be disappointed.

  • Creed was better than expected.

I was impressed with the concert and thought the performers put much effort into the show.

  • Creed is back!

by concertchik on 8/27/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

I saw Creed at Blossom 8/26/09 & they were AWESOME! I had read some reviews where they said Scott's voice wasn't up to par, but they were definitely wrong. As soon as he came out on stage, he was full of energy & his voice sounded amazing! He was running around the stage like crazy! Totally on fire!!! The band sounded great & they were all united together. I am so happy they reunited & hope they continue to play their music! They rocked it out!!!

  • Creed Reunion

by Sexygal on 8/27/09Blossom Music Center - Cuyahoga FallsRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen Creed several times over the years, and last nights performance at Blossom was like they were never apart. Scott Stapps vocals were as good as when I seen Creed back in 2001. Marks guitar performance was outsanding as was Scott Philps on the drums and Brian Marschal on the base. The vibe was great and intense. I was forunate to meet the band and they all seem like very down to earth and humble guys.

  • Sexy a$$ Scott

  • Creed is BACK!!!

by restless373 on 8/27/09DTE Energy Music Theatre - ClarkstonRating: 5 out of 5

I never thought the day would come that Creed would reunite. Well by some divine intervention, Creed healed their wounds are returned not only to the studio, but the stage. They were spectacular. Stapp's voice was better than expected, however not quite up to par as it was 10 years ago; he still sounded great though! Their energy was incredible! They're new touring member, Eric Freidman, really filled out their sound with rhythm guitar and great higher backup vocals. Their new songs sounded awesome and had a fresher sound to it. They still had a great pyro and light show! Overall the concert was amazing!

  • Worth the $$$!

Creed puts on an energentic rock show that is one of the best around. Now all they need to do is stay together and release a new album. If you get the chance, go see Creed. You won't be disappointed!
