About

Creed is a multi-platinum rock band formed in Tallahassee, Florida in 1994. The band, comprising lead vocalist Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti (guitar/vocals), Brian Marshall (bass), and Scott Phillips (drums), has sold over 53 million albums worldwide. Their 1999 album Human Clay — which features the hit single "With Arms Wide Open" — is one of the best-selling albums of all time in the U.S. "With Arms Wide Open" topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song in 2001. The post-grunge act disbanded in 2004, but have reunited twice: In 2009, they reunited to release their fourth album Full Circle and embark on multiple tours. Creed reunited for a second time in July 2023, and will embark on a massive run of tour dates in 2024.

  • Welcome Back!

by Tzugidan on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Creed is back. From the hard pounding entrance to "Bullets" to the finale' "Higher" the show was packed with heart pounding powerchords and theatrics. Mixing in songs from their much anticipated new release "Full Circle" with songs from their previous recordings the entire show had a great flow, and Scott Stapp is obviously very excited to back in front of his fans with his crew. The sound was mixed very well for an outdoor event..cudos to the sound crew. Great Pyrotechnics, and use of stage. Glad to see Creed back together. If you're a fan, you can't miss it. If you've never listened, this concert will be well worth the $60...

  • Creed was fantastic

by drambler on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

The show was a bigger production than I had anticipated with pyrotechnics and large video screens. Scott was in decent voice and the band was incredible.

  • My 3rd Creed concert.

by BethJ on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

I saw them twice in the 90's. They put on a great show last night. I loved that the guys were smiling & looking like they were having a great time, too. Mark Tremonti is amazing live.

  • Creed was excellent!!

    by TRC1 on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

The concert and the pyrotechnics were outstanding. The instruments at moments overpowered the vocals. Scott Stapp was outstanding.

I have alway been a Creed fan. I loved everything about the concert. I am so glad they are back together. Scott Stapp is really passionate and really pulls you in when he sings. It is my 4th time seeing them, and they haven't missed a beat. after all these years. I will continue to see them as long as they perform.

  • Creed was Awesome, Hoobastank, well they HoobaSUCK

    by HHH03 on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 4 out of 5

First time seeing Creed and they didn't dissapoint. They opened the show with 2 new songs from their upcoming album. From there, it was all the hits. The band didn't miss a beat and sounded awesome. Scott Stapp put a ton of energy into the show. It was refreshing to actually watch a show and not hear the F bomb after every song. Outside of Scott dissappearing from the stage for a minute or so, they continuously played for 2 hours. Great crowd participation. Although I was surprised at the lack of attendance. I guess not releasing an album for 5-6 years hurt. Overall the concert was a great. They just need to lose Hoobastank and get a decent opening band. Hoobastank definitely fits although I recommend HoobaSUCK. Unfortunately this is the 3rd time I have had to sit through their horrible set. This concert and twice with Nickelback. They have 1 hit song of their own and have to resort to playing cover songs just to get the crowd into the show. They played the worst version of Ghostbusters. NO KIDDING. When they opened for Nickelback, they covered Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer. THEY SUCK and should never be allowed to open for a rock band ever again.

  • Creed Rocked!

I saw Creed a long time ago, and they are just as good as I remember. The lighting and effects were spectacular... Bigger and better than last time. I can listen to their songs and never tire of it. It's great to hear live musicians that can perform so well!

    by KROCK111 on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

I seen Creed on their Weathered tour and it was one of my top ten shows of all time.Having seen probably close to 300 shows in my life this is a pretty powerful statement. This was not a top 10 show but was very very good. You can tell they prepared well for this tour as they were very "tight". Great performance and awesome pyro.I just got online and bought 2 tickets to the Columbus show that's how much I liked the show.

  • Creed was awesome

by JennCinti on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

I've been to prior Creed concerts, but this one topped them. Creed really reinvented their show. They played a lot harder songs and seemed to just enjoy playing vs. trying to play a well reheased show. Hoobastank was good but I enjoyed Like a Storm more.

  • CREED

by MSTATON on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

THE SHOW WAS AWESOME!!!!! IT WAS LIKE THEY NEVER WERE APART. VERY HIGH ENERGY. YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE IT!!!

  • "Altered" Creed was awful

    by sugarplum2 on 8/29/09Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 1 out of 5

I seen Creed 5 times, the last was in 2002 and they were FANTASTIC. I couldn't wait to see them again. How disappointing, it was not the Creed that sold out venues, it was "Altered" Creed. I would never have paid to see Altered Bridge and did not appreciate the trick used to get people to pay now by saying Creed was back. The music was terrible. It did not even sound like Creed until Scott Stapp started singing. Stapp is still incredible and the band needs to get back to the music that made them Creed. Altered Bridge didn't make it for a reason.
