Crash Test Dummies were fantastic! We took our two adult daughters to relive a part of our road trip to Alaska in the 1990s. We travelled in our old van and listened to CTD cds. We all sang at the top of our lungs. Thank you for bringing a bit of that back!
The Crash Test Dummies are amazing!🤩 It’s super disappointing that there was no where to dance. I’m tired of going to concerts and being told to sit down!🤬
I took my 14 year old daughter and both of us had a blast. She loved Leith's energy, Ellen's vibe, and the fact that it was obvious everyone was a musician. She loved Brad's voice but especially his harmonies with Ellen. They were fabulous and 'still had it' as I had not heard their new tracks and didn't know how much ol' father time has caught up... gladly, not much! Fabulous set! Enough that I'm starting to look(listen) into their more recent stuff lately and am liking what I am hearing. Thanks!
Fans of the Crash Test Dummies know their sound and relish their clever themes and intricate melodies. The latest show (at The Westgate in Las Vegas) was full of life and love for the music with expert vocalizations and superior musicianship. It was good to see the band together and seemingly very happy to be showing off their catalog. Much of the content came from the "God Shuffled his Feet"release and the tunes were great to hear live. They also brought "The Ghosts that Haunt Me"and "Peter Pumpkinhead"to life and it was a joy to hear these live as well. The classic "Superman's Song"and "Sacred Alphabet"were incredible. While The Dummies were superb, the crowd at the Westgate was downright disrespectful and lame. There were at least three people in the front row talking during many of the Dummies songs and no one could get them to be quiet. Staff should have removed them. I suspect this disrespect was felt by the Dummies as they did not return for an encore, which is a shame, since most of the disrespectful people had left before their last song. To be clear, I don't blame the band for responding this way. Several people attempted but were not very successful to ruin the show for anyone near them. (Yes, I was in back of them a couple seats from that group.) That said, thanks Dummies for a beautiful, fun performance! Steven Page, former Bare Naked Ladies singer, opened and was just as you would imagine he would be: fun and full of life and absurdity. He performed a few of his solo songs and a handful of BNL songs as well. On the whole, a great night. Westgate staff! Mind your crowd and get rid of the people who clearly have elsewhere to be!
What a great show. Blast from the past!!! My husband and I enjoyed every bit of it.
Still great vocals and musical talent. Played the hits and a few new songs that were great. Only complaint was a shorter set. Steven page trio was opener and was fantastic. Recommend you see the show
Great show. Steven page always awesome. Crash test dummys same!
The headliner, Crash Test Dummies played for less than an hour. Less than the opening act, Steven Page who was great.
Small venue Bristol trinity hall the band were fantastic quite surreal seeing the crash test dummies at a small venue loved them in the 90s and they are still doing it
