Show did not start on the time they said it would.

by peregrino on 2/12/11The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

The show start time clearly stated 8:00. CLEARLY!!! They started the concert a half hour early. I don't know who to blame for this, either the bands did it, or the venue did it, dont know. But many people came to this concert to see the Finnish up-and-coming band Turisas, they even flew in from other parts of the country. The line up was also messed up, they stated Turisas would play second, they played first. I can deal with the misScheduling, whatever. To add insult to injury, we were 10 feet from the stage and my wife, friends, and i could clearely hear eachother (grant it, with some vocal effort) but the sound engineer or whom ever is responsible for the volume clearly Forked up. It was so soft, the sound check guy didn't seem to match vocals, the back-up vocalists was nearly deafening (which is good in a way) while the main vocals are hardly audible. I was very disappointed in the overall quality of the Ballroom this time. I have been there dozens of times, and never did i have such a crappy time. The Bands did phenominal, i was very happy that i made it there early, i would have been super upset if i didn't see Turisas. The Security personal are always the best. They treat us like paying clients, i feel very safe there.

Mixture of obscure and familiar. The show was nice and long. The crowd was rabid and enthusiastic.

If you like crazy symphonic Gothic black metal, then you got to check out COF. Overall, a awesome show.

    Headbangers' Hell

by linardridge on 2/11/11The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

The line ups were great, concert was freaking awesome. The venue (being indoor) had too much of noise/ bass rebounding. Wud've been great if they cud've threw some of the noise out. But, overall - it was a Headbangers' Hell \\m//

    Cradle of Filth was amazing!

by FilthyDrummer on 2/11/11The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

Cradle of Filth was Truly Amazing playing Mostly old music. Going to see my favorite band on my 21st birthday i was excited but a little iffy seeing as dani's voice has faded. But they proved me wrong busting out with the first two songs off Dusk and Her Embrace and pulling it off amazingly! hands down best concert ever!

I've Got Blisters On Me Eardrums!

by Cheezus on 2/11/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

Every great metal band has great guitar riffs. COF not only have that, they also have extreme theatrics that would make the Vatican crumble and Wagner rise from the dead, only to be put back in the grave. Cradle-style. They recognize that they play in a different LA venue every tour cycle. So the more difficult it is to fill a room (Club Nokia in downtown LA on a tuesday night next to a Justin Beiber event), the more diehard the fans are. And the more COF deliver. They did their hits, each receiving the appropriate emotional response. They did their classic pulverizing numbers to show they still care. For a guitarist Paul Allender who writes such awesome riffs, they didn't play many of the songs that spawned them. I guess darkness and blast beats wins over guitar domination. Dani has so much personality, it's very hard to not fall in love with COF. Even if you don't like "black metal." First you'll laugh, then you'll rock out. Embracing the wickedness like the best Halloween of all time.

    Cradle was absolutely "ON"!

by PsychoVamp69 on 2/11/11The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

I consider the venue a "mere" local joint to host a band of their caliber, power, and notoriety. The stage is small for their show to really sprout leather wings, and the sound system was inconsistent, and at times, unbalanced. The attendance was fair, but this headliner needs, and deserves, to be back at the top; When I saw them at the Fillmore and the Warfield, the crowd was 10X the size, the stage show was alive, the acoustical onslaught was well balanced in its piercing ferocity. That said, ANY venue putting on these heavy-hitters will get my recommendation! Cradle made that venue look good despite all the issues. They were tight, together, and absolutely "ON" in every way.

    Cradle ROCK!!!

by MSankevicius on 2/11/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

Cradle of Filth were amazing. Opening bands didn't support what Cradle represent. Would have preferred better opening bands. Arena should have let Cradle do an encore to play more songs.

Great mix of bands. Nice to see Daniel Lioneye and Turisas. Finnish metal is different from Norwegian black metal. It was distinctive to say the least. Nachtmystium was a good surpeise. The Cradle ruled!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    cradle

by mitchie213 on 2/11/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

Really awsome I've seen them many times. Normally the show is way more longer but I figure since it was at club nokia they didn't have a longer set but it was really awsome. I wish they would come around more often.

    COF Review

by Shadowluz07 on 2/8/11The Fox Theater - Pomona - Pomona

First COF concert and 6th concert I have gone to. I was supposed to see Linkin Park, but this event was much less expensive, so my parents took me here instead. The concert was amazing! Dani dedicated Nymphetamine to us "senoritas", threw Bud Light at us, enough that some fell on my glasses (which i haven't washed off yet :D), and in the end, the path to the front opened up and I got close enough to reach through the barricade and it was there that Dani looked at me with his filthy white eyes! HE'S AMAZING as is everyone from COF! I loved the show! Though I forgot some of the lyrics and they didn't play a few tracks I wish they would have, it was still one of my most memorable. Glad to have had them as my first concert of 2011. Nice way to start off the yr with something epic!

I really loved the concert. I have been a big fan of cradle of filth and seeing them for the first time was spectacular. I would definitely go see them again if they ever return.
