Country Megaticket in Concert
Back in the mid-2000s, somebody had a brilliant idea. Since summer concert schedules tend to be chock-full of country stars who draw thousands of fans to their concerts, why not make things a little easier on those fans? Why not take a whole batch of those shows and package them together, letting lovers of country music pay a single price for their tickets to all of them? It's cheaper and simpler for the fans, and it’s the sort of thing classical music venues have been doing for eons. So if it's good enough for classical, isn't it good enough for country? Thus was the Country Megaticket born into the world. Every summer, the series brings a different combination of country talent together and gives fans the chance to catch them all as part of the same big musical splurge.
When those Country Megaticket shows started coming around each year, it was like an answer to every country aficionado's dream. And eventually the anticipation would ratchet up, as concertgoers waited to find out which of their favorite singers would be taking part in the next summer's run. The lineup has shifted from year to year, but they've always had one thing in common: Every show would feature a straight-up superstar as the headliner, on a bill filled out by country hitmakers of various levels of renown. In 2017 for instance, you could catch Dierks Bentley supported by Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi, among other bills. In 2018, you might have seen Brad Paisley with Kane Brown and Dan Tyminski. The 2019 offerings included shows like Thomas Rhett with Russell Dickerson, Dustin Lynch and Rhett Akins.
The 2020 lineup features Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Chris Young, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Old Dominion, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Thomas Rhett and Tim McGraw. The fact is, if you go crazy for country music, the Megaticket offers an awesome value and a boatload of top-tier talent.

My sister and I had the MegaTicket this past Summer and at almost every concert we were tormented by smokers who would continuously and intentionally blow their smoke near us even after we would nicely ask them to stop. My sister has breathing problems and that only amplified them. It was so bad at some of the concerts that we had to leave early. We should not have to miss out on the fun which we paid to have just because people want to be ignorant and smoke in a crowded place around others subjecting them to secondhand smoke. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS ISSUE BEFORE THE NEXT CONCERT SEASON!

I understand that its the lawn and I know what that means, but I definitely think that there were too many tickets sold. There is also a lot of underage drinking and high school kids everywhere. The lawn should definitely have an age limit!!

by Atwoodian on 1/6/20Riverbend Music Center - CincinnatiLooking forward to the release of the 2020 Lineup. The 2019 Lineup provided a nice blend of past favorites and some of the best new stars. Riverbend is a great venue to "listen" to a concert. Only downside to Riverbend...not enough policing of excessive partying- especially the number of people who are just free to smoke weed wherever they please. Some nights it was a bit much! Walking to concession stand at intermission usually involves walking through a pack of smoking drunks.

by Country girl in a city world on 1/4/20FivePoint Amphitheatre - IrvineLove five point Amphitheatre. Sound great, staff friendly and concert goers really nice making every night fantastic. Love the mega ticket especially this year when concert series was at one location. You pick your seats and know exactly what you are buying. Other years it’s at several venues and I have not been pleased because 40 rows back in the floor is “not the same seats I picked” even though same price. Keep it going but keep it to one location. One added benefit is if you could do etickets. Way better than trying to remember hard tickets.

After concert traffic sucks and adds to why Mega Country concerts shouldn't be on those nights. Equal number of female performers would also be suggested.
