Had a blast!!! everyone that attended the festival was super friendly. The set up was sick, so if you ever have the chance to check it out would recommend. Although I feel like the bar could have been set up better, with more lines ups. The line ups were a tad ridiculous and we’re only allowed one drink at a time.
Less people this year I felt compared to recent years. Pretty high ticket prices too. Sets were good. I like the venue... but ever thought of taking it to pacific coliseum? .. lots of youngins... as for someone around 27 felt a little old.. compared to solid events dooms night.
Kaskade was good. Major laser’s set was disappointing to our whole crew, we left early
First night wasn’t good, kaskade wasn’t good, only one drink at a time, resulting in multiple line ups and wasting time there, line ups were long, can’t buy for friends
Would have gave a full 5 stars but I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t advertised as being an all ages event. The over all atmosphere was strange with there being children at the event.
Concert was amazing! But hated the fact that you couldn't keep your bottle caps. Many people were worried that someone would slip something into their drink and made us enjoy our time a lot less. I also hated that we couldn't even bring in signs or blow up toys for picture taking. There's no harm in brining those items. Hope to see some improvement please!
first festival and i had the best time of my life! can't wait for next year
Music was fantastic no complaints there. The venue itself was another story. Online we were told that we could bring an empty plastic water bottle to fill up, but I’m the security line they took away your cap, because apparently a full water bottle could be used as a weapon... then when you get in you have to get in line to get your wristband. And then a separate line to get a wristband that indicated you were of drinking age.... there were lots of places to buy alcohol and the lines went fast, but some spots only sold beer while others sold beer and hard alcohol. The main stage was in the arena, but the other stage was in a hallway and was WAY difficult to navigate through and you couldn’t even see the stage. It was honestly the biggest fire hazard and just a trampling waiting to happen. The staff was lovely and understood our frustrations about water bottle situations etc. still had a great time but the venue and rules seemed a little silly.
Lines were short to get in, no real issues with anything except the fact that i didn’t see any water stations the whole time i was there
The festival experice overall was great. Crowd was good, good behaviour and lots of space. I just think the lineup was really poor, after having hardwell, steve angello, andrew rayel, above and beyond etc some years ago, now coming with loud luxury (?), crankdat and whatnot I just think is a big step down. Plus they all play the same style of music, dubstep/trap, I mean, no diversification. Hopefully you can bring some better names next year or at least a more diverse lineup.
One of the best stages I’ve seen! All I can say is that BC Place was a perfect location for contact, we didn’t stay in line for long which was perfect! Definitely I’m going to the next one!
Super chill festival, AMAZING lineup, great security and everyone is so kind. Recommend.
