We got last minute tickets to this show after hearing about it on the radio. We always wanted to go and we LOVE Denis Leary. It was the most fun we had supporting a great cause. We will definitely be going again next year.
This show is a guaranteed good time every year. You literally laugh the entire time. This year's comedians were Lenny Clarke, Pete Correale, Thomas Dale, Jimmy Dunn, Adam Ferrara, Jim Norton, Steven Wright and Joe Yannetty. Most have ties to Boston and volunteer their time to benefit the Cam Neely Foundation, which provides housing to families of cancer patients undergoing treatment in Boston and funds many other things as well. Denis Leary is the host every year, doing his comedy throughout the show. He is definitely my favorite, along with Lenny Clarke. Steven Wright is also a long-time favorite of mine, very dry humor, tries not to laugh, but can't help himself. But just about every comedian is equally funny. My friends and I never miss the show!
Another great year with Denis Leary and friends and the best part was that it was all for a GREAT cause!
I went to this event last year and laughed straight through from beginning to end. Almost had the same experience this year until the last comic, Adam Ferrara. It's too bad Mr. Ferrara didn't review his routine from last year because if he had he would have realized it was the same as this years. Unfortunately, hearing the same jokes second time around is not as funny. He was part of the main reason I went again this year, he's my favorite. Boo Adam! Still howling over Steven Wright's "A.C." (almost cyclops) and I think it was Gaffigan's routine about the duvet cover.
great show all were very funny , we were entertained the whole time,can't wait for next year.
1) A good show for a good cause. We had a party of 13 in memory of my wife. 2) None liked the gay guy routine. 3) Also the f- word was over used; they all could be just as funny without it. 4) The Asshole song at the end was just stupid, not funny, detracted from the good stuff before it. 5) Sound was too loud to the point it was difficult to understand performers.
I have been attending this great show for several years, and it never gets old!! It is for a great cause, and you laugh so hard that your face hurts! It can get down and dirty, so easily offended people need not appy! But if you appreciate uncut, raw humor that will have you rolling, this is the venue! Denis Leary is an amazing host and has always been involved in great causes! The fact that this benefits the Cam Neely Foundation is such a wonderful reason to go! See you next year, Denis!
I have been to this show twice and both times it was funny, although the first time was better. Denis Leary is always great and the fact that proceeds go to the Nealy foundation makes it all a genuinely worthy cause!
This was my first time going to comincs come home, and I definatley plan on going again! Dennis Leary was amazing and so were all the other comics! Jim Gaffigan made a surprise apperance, which made an amazing night unforgetable!
The over 2 hour show was packed with highly talented comics and non stop entertainment Great cause to support cancer. It went by too quick. Not for the politically correct. Good thing we can still have a place to laugh.
Wish they had these shows more often. Being in remission myself and losing my dad to cancer a few months ago, I want to thank the cam neeley foundation and all the comedians and people who put this show together to help families going through such a tramatic time in their lives. The show was fantastic. Denis Leary is the BEST!!!!!! Lenny Clarke looks amazing!!! All the comedians were terrific. Couldn't stop laughing!!! I recommend everyone should see this show, you will have a great time and its for a worthy cause. Thank you Denis Leary and everyone for such a great evening!!! Can't wait for the next show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Denis Leary put on another great show. Great comedians, great cause, great night out. Jim Norton rocked and it was great to see Jim Gaffigan come over and do a set as well. Excellent show! Lenny, Adam and Steven Wright were all amazing. I hope the lady at Comcast gets Yanetty's number changed!!

It was great to see such an array of big comedy stars in person together on one evening, particularly so many from the Boston comedy scene. With all of the performers, it was inevitable that the event ran the gamut from not very funny to hysterical. Denis Leary worked very hard as the MC, and if he's the point person in putting this together, kudos to him! However, while I've enjoyed him on TV, not particularly on this night. The evening definitely had its great moments, and I'm glad I went to support a worthy cause.
Awesome show! What a treat to have Steve Wright join the line up this year. Denis was his usually funny self as was Lenny Clark. We'll be back next year and with more friends!!
As always Denis Leary brought his searing social commentary to the world of humor, and it was hilarious. The group of comics that come every year are always top notch and this years was no exception. Norton, Clarke and Wright are all at the top of their craft.
Comics Come Home was awesome. Dennis Leary was entertaining and hilarious. My favorite comic of the night was Jim Gaffigan. All the comedians were funny. My husband and I laughed our asses off all night. The Agganis Arena is a great venue because you can see the stage no matter where you are sitting. We had a great time.
This was the funniest comedy show I have ever been to. My face was still sore the next day from laughing so hard. I've been to Las Vegas 4 times and have gone to a comedy show each time. This was by far the best one. Thank you to Dennis Leary and company for a hysterical night out.
