The show would be a 5 star review if not for the ridiculousness of having to lock up our phones like we’re children. Bill Burr, you’re good but you’re not that important. The whole thing was chaos before and after.
The comics were great however getting in to the arena was not do great. The Youndr pouches were a hassle. Took a lot longer to get through security…
The show itself was great. All the comedians had us laughing. The venue is always great. We went prepared to use Apple Pay since it’s a cash free venue. Unfortunately our phones and smartwatches were secured into pouches before we entered the venue and we were unable to use them. This did not take away from the show, just the experience. It also made it difficult to communicate with our babysitter since our phones and watches were inaccessible. I don’t think I would spend over $200 per ticket again if I knew we had to lock the phones up.
What a great evening! Thank you Cam Neely for continuing to sponsor such a wonderful ass-kicking campaign against cancer! My sides are still sore from laughing.
This is an excellent charity event that I attend each year. This year, we were required to lock up our electronics. I wish I had known prior to attending so I would have given myself more time to get through security.
This wasn't just a regular comedy show that I expected to attend. It was a fabulous show! The music & band were great! I enjoyed seeing all those legendary players who made an appearance. Dennis Leary was fantastic! I think I enjoyed him the most whether it was his jokes, intros or singing. The comedians were all great too. Even the one heckler that was there who tried to put a damper on the show didn't succeed due to the expertise of the comedian. Just all round awesome show!! This was the first time I went & I plan on making this an annual event.
A real mix of talent and effort. Headliners like Bill Burr and Pete Davidson (who was horrible) looked like they mailed it in while lesser name talents rocked it. If each comic gets about nine minutes, they should make it some of their best stuff. The older comics and newer ones appeared ready to make us laugh. Disappointing considering the cost of tickets.
Great seats, phone security was new to us but it went smooth. No phone for 3 hours new experience for everyone High 5's to Cam and his wife for all the work they do for the foundation. Denis Leary was awesome as MC. All the comics were gracious in donating their time and making us laugh all night Shout out to Pete Davidson for putting the heckler in his place
The show was great with exception to Pete Davidson. His comedy was not funny. I would plan to attend again next year.
I cant believe how awful and annoying it is to spend top dollar for an event at TD Garden and wind up sitting in seats that are so cheap and uncomfortable with leg room and space that would only be comfortable for the little people cast from Seinfeld. It is disgraceful that when the garden shut down during covid they did absolutely nothing to improve these seats other than probably removing the cupholders and padding from those seats. Thats not how you treat people who spend an arm and a leg on your tickets, by cutting off their circulation to those limbs. I will never attend another event there again.
The show was hilarious and a lot of laughs. My sons and I had a great time. My only complaint is that a couple of times the topics were just cringey. A bit over the top and didn't really seem funny. That would be Pete Davidson and Bill Burr. Of course, I know that when you walk into an event like this, everything is game. I love Bill Burr and thought his bit was a little anti-climactic. I guess I just expected more, but he's still one of the best.
Amazing time. Got to show some buddies A TON of amazing comics in one place. And lots of surprises (not to mention helping the Cam Neely Foundation). Worth it every time. If you haven’t gone - put it in your calendar
This was our first (but definitely not our last) time going to Comics Come Home. I wish I had known about this a long time ago. The show was outstanding, the comics were all incredibly funny. And to benefit Cancer research was an added bonus. We'll definitely be going annually from now on.
This is a great cause and a wonderful event. I had never seen P D before and don't watch SNL but he was awful, I get comics can be rude and nasty but he just crossed the line for me and when the complete event goes silent and stops laughing, one would "think"to stop but he kept going.
Everyone was awesome with the exception of Pete Davidson. Not one funny thing came out of his mouth. Bill Burr was a little disappointing but the other comics surely made up for him. The whole phone thing was a pain. For many that hired a babysitter and had the phone ping with calls and texts made it so you had to leave, find someone to one to open the case to check if it was an emergency, therefore missing a part of the show you paid big bucks for. We heard this was a Pete Davidson criteria. If true, solve both problems and don't invite Pete back.
The comedians were fantastic with the exception of one who chose his topic about finding someone to F his mother. He was obnoxious but the rest were great. Appreciated that there was no political humor so everyone could enjoy themselves. I just love Lenny Clarke! I did not like having to put my phone and watch in a pouch and then have to worry about not loosing the pouch since it wouldn't fit in any of my pockets. Totally unnecessary.
Great night out with the wife! Hilarious lineup, would definitely go again!
Great show, great charity, the comics were outstanding. The shear value of seeing multiple comics was a bonus . Great cause Cam Neely House
It's a great concept on paper, just didn't feel it was executed to its fullest potential. Bill Burr was the highlight of the evening. Pete Davidson was TERRIBLE. The other comics in between were ehhh. The venue for floor seats were cramped so tight and with people continually getting up and down the 3 hour show for the restroom and beverages made it very distracting. We couldn't wait to get up just to stretch our legs for two minutes. I have a friend who was sitting in the nose bleeds and said he liked the show, so it's just a matter of taste. I would've probably enjoyed it more if the seating was set up to fit people above 4'7".
