About

COLBIE CAILLAT IN CONCERT:

Ever since her 2007 debut album Coco, Colbie Caillat has been a consistent touring presence, earning a reputation for her intimate live shows and friendly, down-to-earth stage presence. Her substance-over-style approach to live performances emphasizes her natural talents as a musician rather than her image, making her performances of songs like the danceable “Hold On” and the emotional “Make It Rain” all the more special to fans.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

“Fantastic concert! Colbie's voice sounded amazing, she was super real and fun, and we all loved every minute.”

“…what put the concert over the top was the audience participation! She had everyone sing the chorus of ‘Bubbly,’ and even had us help out with ‘Favorite Song.’”

“Colbie Caillat was a pleasure to see. Not only is she adorable but you can see her authentic beauty in her music. It is very enjoyable to watch an artist live that writes their own music. She told you about each song, how and why it was created. This gave each song so much more depth...”

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Following the 2007 release of her poppy debut album Coco, Colbie Caillat's career took off — within a year she had recorded a Grammy-winning duet with Jason Mraz, embarked on a summer tour in support of John Mayer, and kicked off her headlining Coco World Tour. More Grammy nominations  would follow, including Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals for her duet “Breathe” with Taylor Swift, Best Pop Vocal Album for 2010’s Breakthrough, and Best Song Written for Visual Media for 2014's "We Both Know." In 2012, Colbie teamed up with fellow singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw for a co-headlining summer tour before returning to the studio to record her fifth studio album, due out in 2014.

Overall the show was amazing. Andy Davis has a good start and Howie Day is a mad man with the guitar. Colbie is just flawless, fresh, fun and phenomenal. Her voice is amazing and I will quote Taylor Swift on Colbie Caillat, "She talks like she sings, cool". I enjoy the show very much. I Love You Colbie!!!!!!

Colbie was absolutely amazing last night. She was so personable and funny in between songs. Her singing was unbelievably good. Her opening act, Andy Davis was awesome too. I am running out to get his CD's now. It was a fantastic way to cap off a wedding anniversary night. Thank you Colbie!

Colbie and band put on a FABULOUS evening !!!

by KathyandFamily1 on 9/18/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

My husband and I have been fans from the beginning !! What was fun and amazing is how much our daughters enjoy Colbie. We decided to bring our girls to the concert (even bought pre-sale tickets). What made so much more special was me winning "meet & greet" tickets that I was able to transfer to my daughters.....they were so thrilled!!.....Andy Jackson and Howie Day were perfect openers !! I will attend future concerts with my children without a dought !! Thank you Colbie for a great show......you have a great band....they are a very "tight" group of great musicians !!

    Little disappointed...her band overpowered her!

by CAP1 on 9/18/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

This was the third time my group of friends and I have seen Colbie in concert. Overall, we love her and will continue to buy her music. However, we were more than a little disapointed that her band, as talented as they are, were so loud and OVERPOWERING we could not hear her voice many times throughout the performance. People all around us were talking about it and while waiting for our car in the valet several other got into a discussion about it as well. Why would the sound person not correct that during the concert? I hope she reads this and corrects it for the next concert.. With a talent like hers...letting the music over-power her voice seems like a huge mistake to all of us.

    Incredible Concert

by Slounge on 9/18/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

Colbie Caillat is INCREDIBLE in concert. Her "bubbly" personality (no pun) and smooth as dulce de leche voice was wonderful. My wife is prego's and the nice staff at HOB got us some seats. Although it was an obstructed view my wife got to sit, and that was the most important part. This did not deter from the great concert that Colbie put for 90mins. She sang all her songs from her latest album and also a lot from her first album. She was wonderful, playful and amazing. She is on the list of must see for my wife and I, which includes Sade, Coreen Bailey Rae and Bocelli.

Great place to see a concert. We ended up in the front row for what was just a terrific show. Colbie and her band were energetic, fresh, fun, and tremendously entertaining. I'd definitely catch other concerts at that location, and would see Colbie perform again anytime!

    Caillat was awesome! Howie Day????

by TexasGal1969 on 9/17/09House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

Colbie was great. Well worth the standing wait. She was just great. Howie Day...what was wrong with him? He lip synched , looked like he was out of it, and walked off the stage while the song he was 'singing' was still playing with his voice. The opening act was so much better than him.

    Cobie is amazing!

by Bridge8 on 9/17/09House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

The entire show was so much fun. Howie Day did not have much to say and was a little awkward but it actually came off as charming and comical. He voice is amazing so there really was no need for small talk. Colbie was insanely good! She was relatable, cute and extremely talented. She played new and old songs and had an awesome band! It made me want to go buy her new cd. I went to this concert on a whim and am so happy that I made the decision to go. She is amazing and I cannot wait to see her play again.

    Wow

by CoryHannegan on 9/17/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

Colbie is gorgeous! She walked on stage and im pretty sure my jaw dropped and by the end of the show i was close to proposing... howie day was good... and andy davis, hes a no name, but he really knows how to play the crowd and i thought he was really sick. Maybe even would have bought a cd if i didnt think i was gonna have to fight through 500 girls to get one. Colbie really impressed me with the fact that shes kinda shy but when the music starts playing, she completely opens up and makes sure theres never a dull moment. She really uses her music as a way to express herself...Overall unreal show, best show ive been to and id highly recommend it... Colbie marry me

    Colbie is unique and unforgettable

by thairpist on 9/17/09House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

Colbie had an opening act which was good. He played for about a half hour. Then Howie Day came out next to perform for about 45 min and he was good too. At 9 pm Colbie came out and sang her first song off the Breakthrough album. She is really talented, pleasant, and a great performer. All in all she played about 9 songs from her Coco album and about 7 songs from her new one. She wasn't going to play Lucky but she did with Justin and no disrespect to Jason but the performance with Justin was better. Colbie is fantastic! A must see!
