About

CLINT BLACK IN CONCERT:

Country superstar Clint Black knows a thing or two about penning a catchy tune – he's got more than 20 No. 1 singles under his belt, and his hit-filled live shows have the feel of a greatest hits tour. It makes him something of a maverick in a genre where many artists record music written by other songwriters. Black has spent the bulk of his career singing his own songs, and it's served him well. His penchant for witty puns and clever turns of phrase is on full display in concert – both in the lyrics of favorites like "A Better Man" and during his amusing between-song banter. With his warm baritone voice, killer harmonica playing, and catalog of clever-mouthed hits, Clint Black is a must-see for ticket buyers who like their classic country served straight-up.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Clint Patrick Black was born in New Jersey but raised in the Houston suburb of Katy, TX. He grew up playing music with his family, and by his teens he had serious chops on both the guitar and the harmonica. Black cut his teeth as a singer performing with his brothers in a family band, and he eventually dropped out of high school to play music full-time. He spent the bulk of the '80s working odd jobs while moonlighting as a country performer, and in 1989 he got his big break when RCA signed him and released his debut album Killin' Time. The record spawned five consecutive country No. 1s, making him a star overnight and earning him several Academy of Country Music Awards including Album of the Year and Top Male Vocalist. His chart run continued in the '90s with a string of Top 10 albums and chart-topping hits like "A Good Run of Bad Luck" and "Nothin' But the Taillights." Black parted ways with RCA in the early '00s and took a few years off to start a family, and in 2004 he returned with his eighth album Spend My Time, which he released on his own label Equity Music Group. Critics hailed the album as his most adventurous outing to-date, and Black has remained prolific ever since, consistently delivering both in the studio and on tour.

  • Clint did not disappoint!!

by Sully on 11/16/25Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 5 out of 5

Clint Black was as awesome as he ever was! Just love his sense of humor, good looks, humbleness & wonderful voice! The Rialto is the perfect venue too! So beautiful & intimate. The volunteers there too are so helpful. Great night all the way around.

  • All the hits and more! Great show!

by Sicibella on 11/16/25Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 5 out of 5

Loved hearing all of his hits going back to 90’s/2000’s. Clint still sounds great. Also performed several covers and have tribute to some of the greatest of classic country. He was very interactive with the audience as well. The band was fantastic too. Thoroughly enjoyed this show at a great venue!!

I'm not a real country music fan, but I thought let me try something new. Clint Black was great! Great singer, entertainer and was funny! There is so much crossover in music and this was a great example. I really enjoyed the concert and would definitely see him again.

  • CB brings it!

It was our first time seeing Clint black and it did not disappoint! Always been a fan, but seeing him live solidified what a great asset to music he really is. Excellent energy and a good sense of humor, even when dealing with over served chowder heads in the crowd. Would highly recommend attending the show when he rolls into town! Keep up the good work Clint !!!!

  • Great show

by mrsmkh on 11/16/25Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 5 out of 5

It was a great concert. Clint is talented and funny. His musicians in the band are fantastic. The only complaint (no fault of Clint’s) would be the couple stupid people in the audience who think they are the only ones there and want to carry on a conversation with Clint. But the rest was very enjoyable. And the Rialto is still the most beautiful theater around.

  • Great singer, terrific musicians.

by Donnie on 11/11/25L'Auberge Casino Resort - Lake Charles - Lake CharlesRating: 5 out of 5

Clint is a wonderful performer. During the concert, he sang a mixture of songs, told stories and was surprisingly very humorous. He is a very good guitar player and his band is comprised of an excellent fiddler player, masterful lead guitarist, tremendous steel guitar player, along with the dummer and key boards. I recommend seeing him.

  • Great entertainer in a great setting.

This was a typical short casino concert but Clint Black was better than expected. He was a great entertainer and hilarious...not to mention that I loved his songs. He knows we were there to hear his older music and he delivered perfectly!! It's true that a melody brings back a memory.

  • Great Concert!

  • Clint Black Concert at L'Auberge Lake Charles

by Jan on 11/11/25L'Auberge Casino Resort - Lake Charles - Lake CharlesRating: 5 out of 5

We bought these tickets when they first released. I had never seen Clint Black live before. I have been trying to see some of the older 80's-90's artists this year and he did not disappoint! I like the venue at L'Auberge in Lake Charles because it is smaller and more intimate. Our tickets were on the 8th row so we had really good seats. Clint was very good and so was his band! He also took time to talk to the audience to make the concert very personal. There were 4 of us that went and we all had a great time!

  • Awesome experience at Clint Black's concert

by A new fan on 11/11/25L'Auberge Casino Resort - Lake Charles - Lake CharlesRating: 5 out of 5

L'auberge is a great facility for hosting concerts. It's just intimate enough. It still holds a decent amount of people. Sound quality is great, lighting's. great, easy and free parking, easy to get to concert venue. 90 minutes with no intermission is just right for us, and ticket prices reflect the shorter concert

  • Clint Black was amazing!!!!! He is so funny and personable.

Had never seen him in concert but so glad I did! He was great!

  • Great show!

by Ash on 11/11/25L'Auberge Casino Resort - Lake Charles - Lake CharlesRating: 5 out of 5

The show was awesome. I brought my mom, dad, and husband. Mr. Black sounded great live. The smaller size of the venue made the show more intimate. He preformed a great mix of classics and new favorites. We were all singing along. I would highly recommend going to see this tour.

  • Great show by Clint, opening act was a surprise.

by Gstanfo on 11/10/25ArcBest Corporation Performing Arts Center - Fort Smith - Fort SmithRating: 4 out of 5

Clint was in fine form, but I was expecting his show to start at 8pm. Instead, there was an opening act, and while they were talented, there was no mention of an opening act when I bought the tickets. As a matter of fact, the lead singer of this group even commented that "I bet y'all weren't expecting us, huh?"So I guess they were a last-minute addition, which I could have done without. they finished their set around 8:30p but by the time they cleared their gear out and Clint's road crew got him set up it was 9pm before he walked out and started his set. Kind of an anal, ticky-tack complaint I know, but hey, I'm old and set in my ways!

  • Amazing!!

Found good free parking. Easy entry into the facility & through the security. Comfortable seats. Warmup band was one of the best we’ve seen alongside more famous headliners. Then Clint Black & his band kept us smiling all night. The crowd was energetic without be obnoxious. Really enjoyable evening, start to finish. Well worth the price of admission.

I was not impressed with Clint Black, don’t think I will be making another Clint Black concert. Most of the people there seem to enjoy his music, lots of clapping and foot stomping. I love country music but Clint is Merle or George.
