CLEAN BANDIT IN CONCERT:

Hot UK newcomers Clean Bandit are stealing the spotlight with their pop-meets-classical dance jams, paving the way for an innovative genre that's all their own. Whether they're performing the smash-hit "Rather Be" or putting a unique spin on Lorde's "Royals," Clean Bandit create a perfect hybrid of strings and synths, always taking the stage in style. Back on the road, the group will treat ticket buyers to hit-filled sets on their highly anticipated tour dates throughout the UK, US, and Europe.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Clean Bandit members Grace Chatto, Milan Neil Amin-Smith, and brothers  Jack and Luke Patterson formed during their undergraduate studies at Cambridge University in 2009, remixing music from their string quartet by adding beats and synths to the raw, classical sound. Since then they've been steadily on the rise, turning heads with No. 1 hit "Rather Be" and generating significant buzz around their 2014 full-length debut New Eyes, which features a variety of soulful guest vocalists. In addition to their infectious tunes, the group has also established a chic visual image, creating eye-catching music videos through their side project Clean Film. Clean Bandit will have ticket buyers dancing out of their seats on a string of entertaining shows, sharing their pop-infused hits alongside artists like London Grammar, SBTRKT, and more in support of their 2014 release New Eyes.

Clean Bandit blew my mind. I have been listening to Clean Bandit for over a year so was very much anticipating this gig. I was not quite sure how they would fair without their solo artists available for each song. The 2 singers they had were superb! The whole experience was awesome!

    Clean Bandit killed it! Quickly...

Needless to say, the 6 members that made up the band were absolutely phenomenal. The two lead singers had great control over their tone, pitch and strength. The fed off well with each other and the crowd. The violinist, Milan, played absolutely brilliantly. I love how this group is able to incorporate beautiful classical instruments into a new aged electro sound. The drummer, Luke, was mesmerizing to watch. The way he is able to keep such fast syncopated beats is truly amazing. John, keyboardist, was really grooving the whole time. Grace, cellist, is the quite but mysterious type. She doesn't have such a strong presence on the stage but when shes in her element, playing the cello or singing, she really takes ones breath away. Overall, they played a great set list, sounded almost exactly like they do in the studio and really incorporated the audience. The only complaint I would have is that they played and EXTREMELY short set. Although the tickets weren't incredibly high, I thought they should have played for a bit longer. It seemed as if they were in a rush to leave. While they did come out for an encore, the whole performance was only about 45-50 min. **Their sound guy is incredible! The balance of each mic and instrument was perfect.
