    Truly Classic Queen

by Tim421 on 9/5/09Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

Short of seeing Freddy Mercury prancing around the stage, we basically experienced a Queen concert.... the band did a great job of presenting "Night at the Opera"....then, the greatest hits after the intermission just made the place rock.... we had a great time!!!

    Marley lives on

by DLove30 on 8/10/09King Center for the Performing Arts - Melbourne

This was a very talented group of musicians, and they did a nice job of playing a tough collection of songs. Reggae is not an easy style compared to straight-forward rock but they covered it very well. Musically, the show was excellent; I would have liked to see a bit more stage presence - anyone who has seen a Marley show knows that always put on a high-energy performance but again, they did a great job reproducing the songs and I'm sure that was tough as it was. Background singers nailed everything, the horn section was spot on and the lead guitar got a few chances to shine as well. And the lead singer did a commendable job paying homage to the greatest reggae icon of all time - he really shined acoustically when playing Redemption Song. It appeared they most enjoyed playing the encore - it seemed like, while they didn't want to take any liberties while playing the album, they loosened up a bit and just jammed. It was probably about a 10-minute rendition with some interplay between the guitars (the singer showed he could play some serious lead as well) and the percussionist nearly caught fire. Great closing!

Bob Marley - Legend was excellent!!!

by GreenBoard on 8/10/09King Center for the Performing Arts - Melbourne

The band far exceeded our expectations. My family and I enjoyed every minute of the show. The King Center is the perfect place for a concert such as this, there is not a bad seat in the house. Our seats in the Grand Tier, center, gave us the best view of all the musicians. The music was great, the sound top notch, and the overall atomosphere was pleasant. A perfect family night out.

by REEF2 on 8/9/09King Center for the Performing Arts - Melbourne

Overall, the concert was great! At first it looked like the people on stage were somewhat bored, but then, after the intermission, the show became amazing, everyone was standing up singing and really jammin.

Classic Albums Live Beatles was Great

by DDLin on 8/4/09Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

A great show and brought back good memories. The members of the band were so precise that it was hard to believe the original Beatles were not on stage. Attended the Classic Album Pink Floyd previously, and it was also amazing. The shows at Hard Rock are the best.

    Great Show!

by ekim on 7/18/09Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

My husband and I have been Pink Floyd Fans for many years and have gone to several Floyd tribute concerts. This was a great show but would have liked to have seen more graphics/lights/laser type media used. The performance of the band was right on. Hard Rock Live is a perfect venue, affordable and a great location. Thank you for the entertainment!!!!

Close your eyes, and your there

by EricJab on 7/16/09Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

The band and the Orlando orchestra were wonderful together. Played the album note for note, cut for cut. After they finished the album, they took a short break, and then played some other cuts along with the orchestra, after that they took another short break, then the band just came back and did some fab four tunes. It was wonderful to hear the music live, and played, and sung so well.

    The Beatles Sgt Pepper

by zizzy on 7/16/09Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

This was perhaps one of the best Classic Albums Live performances I have attended. Having the Orlando Philharmonic was an added bonus. The music was spot-on, the band was tight, singing was even better. The variety, enthusiasm and crowd pleasing abilities of this group were phenonemal. The only drawback was that this was to be the last performance of this album. I consider that to be very sad indeed. This is such a wonderful vessel to present the Beatles to the people. The whole experience was a "favorite moment" It was all so amazing. It really brought a sense of belonging and community to the crowd.

Beatles Sgt. Pepper w/ Orlando Philharmonic

by pitsypat15 on 7/16/09Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

Being an old-school Beatles fan, I love the reinactment concerts. My husband and I have seen The White Album concert and the Sgt. Pepper concert (twice) at the Hard Rock Live concert hall. All three concerts were great and had the crowd up on their feet singing. I especially like the comfortable balcony seating.

    Twist and Shout

by Steve54 on 7/15/09Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

This was my fourth show and it was easily the best one.The quality of the musicians is incredible and the second half featured songs of the 60's Beatles versus the usual 70's songs.Always enjoy the percussionist who sings "When I'm 64" He is a treat to watch and to listen to.

by Soapie on 7/15/09Hard Rock Live Orlando - Orlando

The whole evening was outstanding. The musicians were flawless. I never was able to see the Beatles when they were touring. But after watching and listening to the performance I fell as if I had.

Abbey Road - Classic Album - Live!

by dlinsky on 7/14/09King Center for the Performing Arts - Melbourne

What a great show. If you're an Abbey Road fan you'll love it (the only hitch was some off pitch vocals during Sun King), if you're a Beatle's fan in general you'll really love it. The first set of course was Abbey Road played from start to finish, including a percussionist banging on a big pipe with a hammer during Maxwell's Silver Hammer. I Want You (She's So Heavy) was terrific. For some reason the guy next to me was surprised when they ended the set with Her Majesty, but was thrilled when they did. The second set was a Beatle's Greatest hits so to speak, with a few surprises! They played Within You Without You which blew me away. Then ended up the show with some oldies which got a few of us dancing. Unfortunately the crowd at this venue was more of a stay seated bunch. I'd recommend the show to young and old!
