CL Tickets

As a big CL fan, i left the show feeling disappointed and annoyed. There were already problems before the concert started- the security guards I asked did not know which line was for VIP or GA and I spend half an hour in the wrong line and the floor of the venue was extremely gross (my feet kept getting stuck to dried residue God-knows-what)- but I was still super excited when CL took the stage. However, her set was very short (I counted around an hour and 25 minutes with several extended breaks throughout,) and it was 80% 2NE1 covers. Despite the fact that Dara was literally in the building, CL did every 2NE1 song on her own, but left too much to the backing track (at certain points it just seemed like she was dancing while the song played with vocals and all rather than actually singing the songs). The venue's sound system also seemed like at times it couldn't handle the bass and sounded quite bad. There was no encore, which is the first such case with ANY concert I've ever been to. I was also disappointed by the lack of new songs or special guests onstage when Siva kept teasing us with the possibility of those rather than being honest and admitting in advance that there would be none. Overall, I really don't feel like I got an experience worth the (overpriced) price of admission. I do want to end on a positive note and say that the live band and dancers were awesome, and CL herself was still very good, especially when she performed her solo tracks.
