by Tuberculosis on 4/6/11Bourbon Street Ballroom - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

I love the Quarter venue side of Bourbon, so Im glad it took place on that side and not the ballroom side. It was gnarly cky was insane as always and eventually right after the show me and my gf hung out with the guys.

  • LISTEN TO CKY

    by Mattwsj on 12/13/10Eagles Club/The Rave/Eagles Ballroom - MilwaukeeRating: 5 out of 5

CKY was awesome for the third time. I recommend anyone who is a fan of rock music as opposed to pop rock go see them. They put their all in to every show and are a lot of fun live.

  • Best show ever.

by LongTimeCKYFan on 11/25/10Peabody's Downunder - ClevelandRating: 5 out of 5

I may be a little biased because CKY has been my favorite band for 7 or 8 years and I've been waiting just as long to see them live but this is by far the best concert I've ever been to. The band was just as AMAZING as I figured they'd be. Hourcast was also really, really good. I don't really remember Lioneye. And the two bands before them were.... interesting. I honestly got tired of the first by the end of their second song. It didn't matter though because I was having a blast. The venue was great and made for a perfect experience. I'm going to try going to smaller venues like that from now on. It made the whole thing seem more personal and made the night that much better. The crowd, or most of it, was awesome. I really can't express enough that this was the best show and most fun I ever had.

  • CKY!!!

by Anonymous on 11/19/10Triple Rock Social Club - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The opening bands were pretty good. Despite all the good reviews about hourcast, they did not play at the Minneapolis show. CKY however was awesome!!! Great sense of humor in terms of the dancing to random crappy music. The mosh pit seemed pretty intense though, a few fights, lots of blood, and some crazy guy who got his shirt ripped and for the rest of the show had a look in his eye like he was literally going to kill someone! All the dudes in the band seemed pretty awesome, got to talk to all of them a bit in the bar afterwards. Over all, GREAT show!

  • Hour Cast was awesum!!!

    by Sky6 on 11/17/10Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

CKY did good, but I loved Hour Cast. True metal rock and roll. Excellent music and lyrics. Lead singer has unique sound. Checked out their video too, its crazy!!!

  • so awesome

by Coffeecraver on 11/15/10Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

CKY really put on a show for the fans. I loved how personal they got with the crowd and they rocked the eff out. Oh and the new bassist, Matty J is a cutie.

The opening bands were very energetic, especially Hourcast. Good crowd overall. Kept moshing to a minimum. CKY really got the crowd riled up. Very fun, reasonable price.

  • CKY is hilariously awesome

by zezus on 11/13/10Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The first band that played was okay, not to great though but they were decent. The band that played second was a good band for the show, got the crowd going and plus they were from Boston. Now CKY was just hilarious, the random dancing and just everything made me laugh throughout the whole show while being entertained by great music. Definitely a good time and i recommend seeing them any chance you get.

  • Hourcast rules the night

by Doeyes on 11/13/10Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Hourcast the 2nd band to go on was AMAZING! A Boston band too that blue the other bands away. CKY was nothing special compared to Hourcast.

    by ml1369 on 11/13/10Paradise Rock Club - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

The band hourcast is so entertaining and professional looking. They should be headlining the shows all over. I hope they do more touring so everyone can enjoy their music. The members are soooo talented. The work they do with writing and composing is truly top notch talent. Everyone should tell their friends about them so they get the recognition they deserve. YOU GO HOURCAST Love you guys!!!!!

  • An unforgettable night that only CKY could pull of

by skizmcniz on 11/1/10Trocadero - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

With a double set, performed both in and out of costume, CKY rocked the Troc from start to finish. With a packed house, the crowd was loving every second of the show from the first song to the last. Interacting with the fans, bringing out long-lost songs into the setlist, and the band enjoying every second of the night just as much as the fans made for one amazing experience that no one in that audience will ever forget. If you weren't there, you will never understand what you missed. CKY played every song from their first two albums, with the exception of only three not making the night's setlist. Three songs from their album "An Answer Can Be Found" were also thrown in which was a surprise since the band usually strays away from playing many of those songs live. Two songs from their newest venture, "Carver City" were also thrown into the mix. With the recent exit of their keyboardist, originally played by Matty J who moved over to bass with another filling in on keys, the majority of "Carver City" isn't played due to a missing sound. Without the keys, the songs are missing that something extra that make them amazing, so I doubt we'll be hearing much from that album until a new keyboardist is brought in. Often being chided for not playing new material, the band played their newest single "Afterworld" to great cheers. After only being played live in it's entirety for the second time, the night before in Teaneck, NJ being the first, the song sounded solid live and with Chad Ginsburg on vocals, it was a great time hearing the song with everyone else in the crowd, rocking away. All in all, CKY's Hellview V was a great night enjoyed by many and will be an unforgettable experience to all who attended. Fans flew in from several states and a few European countries, all for the "Superbowl of CKY shows." With great fans, masterful music, and the best friends a guy could ask for, this night will forever be emblazoned in my head for years to come and will be hard to top.
