This should not be named a Cirque du Soleil show!!! Awful.
As a fan of all other Cirque du Soleil shows, I was expecting something creative and visually amazing. THIS show, however, was like someone lost a bet and allowed his 8-year-old nephew to put a show together. You'd find more interesting performances on America's Got Talent. Jump rope tricks? Really? And we had to sit through a guy playing with a Chinese yoyo TWICE? At least a third of the show was watching a video screen. At least half the show was stuff you could see everyday street performers do. There was only ONE segment that was up to Cirque standards (an impressive underwater performance), and it was hard to see because it was geared toward the people standing in the pit area of the arena. Which leads me to another huge complaint: Why is the main stage so far away? They could have set it up in the center so all seats had fair viewing. I thought I had purchased good seats. But they set it up on the FAR end of the arena. I could barely see anything. This is BY FAR the WORST Cirque du Soleil show I have ever seen. It's called Septimo Dia, but I'm telling people it was more like a show slapped together on el ultimo dia. If I was a Cirque organizer, I would be truly embarrassed.
All the other Cirque du Soleil shows that I have seen have some understandable theme. I could not understand what was going on. Having all those customers on the floor was very distracting. I would recommend skipping this Cirque du Soleil show and save it for one of the other Cirque du Soleil shows.
Unfortunately not worth the face value of the ticket, as this was my 7th show by cirque de soleil it was by far the most disappointing
It was an expereince of a life time. The crowd was very respectful and it was a mellow satisfying concert would definetly do it again.
best show I've ever seen !!! I would definitely recommend this show to anyone that is a fan of soda stereo.
Traditionally Cirque du Soleil is very colorful with live beautiful music with words that are not in any language. This show was dark and I guess in Portuguese. People knew the words to the songs. So it may have been a great show for fans of that band but it should not have been called a “Cirque du Soleil” show. We all hated it!
this is a must see show for soda stereo fans spectacular performance for every song!
Slow start however, it builds to an awesome ending
The production was mediocre. The stage was way to big for the performers. There was not a story that linked the acts . I went because I love Soda Stereo. Honestly they could have created a better story with Soda Stereos lyrics
Out of all the dozens (literally) of Cirque Du Soleil productions I have ever seen, this one was perhaps the most boring. This was more of a pop/rock concert of some of Soda Stereo's best hits, accompanied by some live visual treats. The actual circus acts were tame, and not very exciting, perhaps to accommodate the unique staging (with some audience members standing right in the middle of the arena), but even that felt more like a staged concert with an occasional interruption among the audience for some kind of diversion. Even the final act of acrobatics seemed too familiar: a large troupe on a tumbling pass runway. I really expected the circus acrobatics to be as high on the adrenaline scale, as the music, and was totally disappointed. This show did not even justify the $25 parking fee.
The show is super interactive, the performance for every show is super creative and colorful.
Horrible except for the music of soda stereo, the show was rally awful(no wonder it was so empty)
terrible show. terrible set. nothing like i ever seen from this company.
If you go to SEP7IMO DIA expecting awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping Cirque Du Soleil acrobatic acts you'll be terribly disappointed. However, if you go to the same with the expectation to appreciate Gustavo Cerati's songwriting and Soda Stereo's killer music in all it's digital remastered spendor, you'll have a GREAT time! The production is tailored more towards Soda Stereo fans (vs. Cirque fans). In hindsight, I would've chosen general floor-standing tickets vs. general seating. The Production is not long compared to other Cirque productions (there is no half-time Intermission in SEP7IMO), thus, the chances of getting fatigued standing up is slim (albeit, comfortable shoes), plus, if you're a Soda Stereo fan, you'll find yourself dancing throughout the show (the sound is EPIC). SEP7IMO did for Soda Stereo fans, what Beatles-LOVE and Michael Jackson's-IMMORTAL did for fans. I'd recommend it for Soda Stereo fans.
What an amazing show. To be able to see the acrobats and hear them to Soda Stereo in the background was spectacular. Would watch it again
Mediocre Cirque Du Soilei. Worst I’ve seen by far. The music was ok but the venue looked old and run down
This was not cirque du soleil. They misused the name. This was a spanish concert with a few acrobat act. Waited time and money.
Loved the Septimo dia show. Did not care for the venue at all.
Really bad, not enough tricks it was like a Dj was having a concert
