Show was fun and beautiful. My son and i had a great time.
Enjoyed going to the show very much for my birthday!
First and foremost, it's Cirque Du Soliel.... So it is expected to be a show that will bring you surprising performances, the show is described as "A Breakthrough Ice Experience" it's was mainly nothing but figure skating. I understand if the difficulty of performing on ice is a factor but then I wouldn't consider it a "Breakthrough"... the main performer could not land her twirl twice! During the pinball scene, although it was the most exciting part, the skaters could not get their timing right... obvious mistakes were made that pulled from the storyline... oh and the storyline, let me tell you.... I personally love when Cirque does a story in which you cannot understand the language that is being used, it adds to the quality and involvement of the scene, it becomes interpretive... this show tells you exactly what's going on! all I could think about was how annoying this teenage girl was and how spoiled she must have been to runaway from home... the entire narration was an attempt at Slam Poetry at best.... Again, I love Cirque Du Soliel, but this show in particular belongs as a side gig and a half the cost, I would NOT recommend this show as what it promised. If you like figure skating this is the show for you, but if you like the Original style of Acrobatics and Entertainment Cirque Du Soliel is known for, skip this one and catch Quidam, Ovo, Varekai.... those will make you jump out of your chair without a doubt in excitement
Very exciting show, keeps your adrenaline up.Cast performance is incredible. Modern stage and comfortable
The musicians, singer and performers were so great! Every act was amazing!
What a wonderful show. Everything I expect from Cirque du Soleil and the added fun of ice skating action. When you first walk in you are greeted with a beautiful set that makes you excited to see what will happen. Then the program begins and you see the beauty of the performers, the unusual twists that I associate with Cirque shows and the talent of the performers draw your focus and keep it until the show ends. I couldn't wait for the intermission to be over so I could see what the rest of the show would be like. I'm so happy that I went to the show and sorry for the folks that missed it.
The performance and pageantry were breathtaking. The choreography unbelievable. And the performers outstanding. A "MUST SEE"!
We had already gone to several Cirque du soleil shows (Mystere, Kurios, La Nouba) and had lots of fun each time. Based on those prior experiences, we were expecting a lot and ended up very disappointed. This show was more about choreography than circus. Fun clown parts were almost inexistent when this was a big part of the other shows we had seen and there were very few acrobatics as well. We were all so disappointed. We would not have gone would we have known.
The visuals were superb, magically artistic. We sat in the audience saying "How did they do THAT?!" I had one issue with the venue and one with the acoustics, neither of which made me regret having attended. The venue issue: I had specifically requested access information as both of us have physical disabilities which preclude much walking. The actually seating was wonderful, but the area that would have let us get to gate 128 was closed and we had to walk all the way around and then all the way back. Got painful toward the end. The acoustics: Music was frequently too loud to hear the words of the singer OR the ice made for such a live theatre environment that made distortions which made it hard to hear the words of the singer. We still got the idea of the story but it would have been better if the song words were audible and clear. That being said --- GO SEE THIS THING. It is as close to visual perfection as I have seen, and I have seen lots of theatre!!
We saw Crystal last weekend at AT&T center. It was very easy to get to the venue and park. Lines entering were a little long but moved quickly The show was excellent. We had second row seats. As with all Cirque shows there is a lot going on but with the ice show not quite as much so it is easier to catch most of it and the story itself was easy to follow as well. If you are a Cirque fan I would absolutely recommend checking this out. If you have never been to a Cirque show I would also recommend but would advise that this is not the typical Cirque show. They are all great you won't be disappointed.
This was our first time ever seeing Cirque Du Soleil and it was one amazing experience. Triple thumbs up!!!! The show with their breath taking stunts/acrobatics were outstanding. We all had a wonderful time. Definitely looking forward for their next show in town.
Excellent show !! Very well organized and our view was very good!!
The show was ok. Would not pay to see it again. Not enough of the performance and to much light show.
Very disappointed. It was more of a figure skating ice show. The story was very strange & not understandable. Everything else about it was really good otherwise....
The first 49 minutes was to much of the same after that it took off it was great.
Took my grandchildren and they loved it, I loved seeing them with smiles and excitement. The actors were great and so well trained. The stunts were amazing, and the speed was fun to watch and an amazing performance.
This is total different from the others cirque du soleil show less acrobats compare to the others shows ,but the show still interested cause is on ice skating beautiful stage and great story , the part I dont like about the show is cirque du soleil start to put music from sia ,beyonce coldplay it to loss the original form the other shows
Absolutely loved this show! I have seen several of their shows and this one is the best one I have seen. The music was great and drew me into the story. LOVED IT!! Would see it again and again.
This show was incredible.. We drove to San Antonio from Houston and so glad we did.. My girlfriend loved it.. It was a surprise.
I believe this was my 7th Cirque and it did not disappoint. It was great. It was my first in English which was different but still enjoyable. Not as many acrobatics as usual as it is on ice but the visuals are still great as is the music. It is in the same style as other cirque shows. Be sure to take a jacket if you get cold as it is cold in there.
