Cirque's Holidaze show was ~2 hours of traditional Cirque Du Soleil skills. Juggling, Balancing, Jumps and Improvised Trapeze work. There were two singers that loosely narrated a story throughout but you'd be forgiven if you didn't understand the plot. I thought the singers were actually fairly talented but sort of unnecessary for what comes across more as a talent show.
The actual acts were typically impressive, but I was not blown away by them and neither were my sons (5 and 10 yo). Without the narrative plot or drama, you really need to be blown away by the skills and there were a few moments that were spectacular but most of them were just impressive. Imagine very good street buskers (maybe the best you've ever seen) but only a few that were truly amazing. It makes for a good two hours but for me and the family, it was not something we will remember for years to come. I think some the vegas shows are more in that category but this was the touring show in a half empty maryland casino. No regrets that we went, but I don't think I'd go again to this tier of Cirque Du Soleil.
