About

Cirque Berzerk was born out of the 80-mile-per-hour dust storms and searing 110 degree heat of the California Black Rock Desert's infamous annual subculture festival known as Burning Man.  It combines aerial acrobatics, fire elements, as well as other traditional circus performances with the emphasis on daring music, dance and acrobatics. Cirque Berzerk is much more than just a show—it's an entire evening experience for those who wish to escape the mundane.  Revelers describe Cirque Berzerk as an experience you enter...and never want to leave.

Cirque Berzerk takes a giant leap forward in its latest incarnation, offering a darker, sexier, more phantasmagoric experience in every way.   Stunning new global acts, fiery new choreography and bold new stage design all come to life understate-of-the-art sound and lighting.  It's an intoxicating spectacle, capturing a decadent descent into the gothic underworld.

"The sort of phantasmagoric spectacle Tim Burton would dream up if he quit film making and joined the circus." —The Los Angeles Times

"Viscerally more satisfying than any circus experience I've ever had." —Flaunt Magazine

"A post-rave, post-goth spectacle both in sound and appearance." —LA Weekly

A dark alice down the rabbit hole

by Darkangelrick on 1/10/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

Overall an awsome show however those of us in sanding room only couldn see anything that involved high wire acts once the performer was raised we lost sight, an inch or two lower would have solved this issue simply.

by 5150NANNY on 1/10/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

We had a great time at Cirque Berzerk! This was our second year seeing the show and the acts are amazing! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see a different kind of show but has an open mind and enjoys dark humor. We love it and hope to see it again next year!!!

    cirque berserk was awesome

by Possey on 1/10/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

The genre was so now, if you like the current themes like vamipires, werewolves and Edgar Allan Poe this is the show for you. Not only is the genre happening but then you have the performances that were mind boggling and spectacular. So much fun.

Cirque Berzerk = Down the rabbit hole

by NoahGoodTime on 1/9/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

It an amazing dark rabbit hole when you enter. The stage is filled with tiers and twisty levels accented with white bulbs. The show is mesmerizing, erotic and funny. The acrobatics and stage presence of all the cast members transport you to an underworld of macabre. Truly an event worth visiting again and again.

    don't waste your money

by wlisher on 1/9/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

The man doing the opening act, i literally felt embarrassed for him. Was not funny when supposed to be and at most times was awkward for audience. The host of the show sounded scripted the whole time. There was at one point some technical difficulties which is understandable, but when stopping in middle of an act bring out some dancers or play some orchestra music until problem is solved and show resumes. The finale was weak and when the house lights went on the whole audience sat for a moment not knowing if it was even over.

    Dark, Twisted and Gasp-ifying.....

by FollysFriend on 1/9/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

Cirque Berzerk is a dark, playful, twisted, ticklish spectacle of a show. It's as though Cirque du Soleil and Marilyn Manson had a glorious love child intent on seeding your soul. Worth every penny and wll leave you with the most fantastic nightmares for weeks to come........ ;D

Not ready to be out of the bigtop

by BuckarooB on 1/9/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

The finale didn't work. The audience didn't arrive until 20 minutes into the performance. This show has so much potential but was not ready to be in a theater. The humor at the beginning was missed by loud people who didn't know the pre show had already started. Please club nokia. Get your ushers trained. Hold the show and pre show until the audience is in the house. Cirque please get your show together. Opening weekend is way too late to fix technical problems.

    Choreography sucks

by DTLA on 1/9/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

If you're gonna go to this show, make sure to pay sit down seatings. Don't pay the premium since view is pretty close anywhere you sit. Don't expect a spectacular choreography. The dancing was awful! Other than that, the stunt is great to watch.

    Amazing

by Prisilly on 1/9/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

This show was so much more than we expected. My finance and I were out on Date night and this truly made the night perfect. I didn't know what to expect or exactly what type of show this was but in a few words I would say this was a play, circus and concert all in one. This was awesome. I would recommend to everyone. It's a little strange and a whole lot of cool. This is definitely must do again next year.

    Not cirque du soliel

by 1funchick on 1/9/11Club Nokia - Los Angeles

This event was recommended by a friend who had seen it a few years ago. I couldnt wait to see it. I think if you had never seen any of the cirque du soliel shows you might enjoy it but the quality of the production was poor. There was nothing new in the show. The venue is to cramped to put that many people on the floor on folding chairs.i was really bummed that I spent 150 bucks and hours LA traffic for this.
