The halftime performance by both bands, Grambling and Alcorn St, was the highlight of the day! The Football Game was a Blowout! Alcorn St defeated Grambling 48 to 0!!! Ironically, tailgating was a bit disappointing! The event planners did NOT provide A SINGLE portable potty!!! Can you imagine tailgating for hours, at a College Game, without a single portable toilet! "Luckily there was a White Castle only 1/2 mile away from our lot"!! (that's sarcasm folks) For that reason alone, it's unlikely that we'll return!!
This was an outstanding event and I plan on attending next year.
The game was great....halftime awesome.....great seats!.....The only issue was that the persons working the stadium that day did not seem to know their way around !
The seats were nice for the price we paid. The stadium was within walking distance of the hotel
Unfortunately, the game wasn't good at all with Grambling getting beat 48-0 by Alcorn State. The bands were great! The fans were fun and everything worked perfectly with my tickets.
The game was a blow out 10-40. North Carolina won. Battle of the bands, great. Miguel's performance was terrific too! Great entertainment for the price!
This event will not go on the top of my Event list. The Venue was great but everything else SUCKED.
Enjoyed the Circle City Classic...It was my first visit to Indy and I thoroughly enjoyed myself... The people of Indianapolis have really embraced this event.
The game was very exciting! It kept me up and out of my chair that's for sure! I also love the battle of the bands! This year the band played all the up to date songs, that also had me singing and once again up and out of my chair!!!!! lol We missed the parade this year because it rained but we look forward to a bright and sunny weekend next year!!!
nice, entertaining. would attend event every year.
This even was loads of fun as always. I am never disappointed when I go to the Classic. The battle of the bands was unbelievable. The talent and creativity of the both TSU and NC A&T were outstanding. I hope to see you all again next year.
I felt sorry to North Carolina, but Tennessee really did go to win it. The battle of the bands was a disappointment. It was so clear that Tennessee had won it hands down. The disapointment was that the Drum Line did not battle. That would have made the 5 hour trip a little more exciting. How ever we did have great seats!
Wonderful venue. Great time. Good seats. Loved every minute.
The battle of the bands was one of the best I've seen in 30 years! The football was amazing as well... like old times! Way to go teams!
Enjoyed the game from a stadium box, first time ever from that vantage point.
... as usual, an excellent production in a warm "make-ya-feel-good" city!!! I'm always amazed how Indianapolis welcomes events of this nature - unlike Cincinnati for example!!! The good Lord willing, I will be in attendance again next year!!! And BTW, Lucas Oil Stadium is outstanding - just luv it!!!
Had a good time, go on your payday though and stay overnight.
Lucas Stadium was outstanding, seats where on the 40- 45 yard line. There were no obstructions in the viewing of the field, well lit.
Circle Classic was a great weekend away from home. Great event in a great city!! Love the stadium
