Circa was an incredible show!!! I loved the simplicity of the show, only lights and the performers were each other's props. No words or sounds, just the performance. I would see this again and again. The ability of these performers was outstanding!!
While I admire the physical strength and grace of the performers, the performance itself was joyless and nightmarish.
The show was wonderful, and the performers--who worked without a stop (no intermission) were not acknowledged in the Program brochure--deserve five stars! This show is all about the skilled performers, who deserve credit above all others in the program brochure. I hope others will include this grievous oversight in their reviews.
The strength, agility, and movement of the performance was memorable and breathtaking. The lighting and repeating loud thumping was a bit of a distraction from the performance itself which was extraordinary moving.
