    Cinderella was awful

by Clay94 on 12/13/17Birmingham Children's Theatre at the BJCC - Birmingham

The play was so bad I left before intermission. They had no music from the actual movie and instead used bubblegum pop songs.

    Bravo, Cinderella!

by ClaireMR on 12/12/17Birmingham Children's Theatre at the BJCC - Birmingham

It was hilarious! I went with a son (4) and daughter (6) and they loved it too. All the 1-liners were cracking me up and the Christmas in Birmingham rap at the end was the best!! Job well done! Only recommendation is maybe adding snacks. 2:30 with your kids and no snacks could be dangerous

    Cinderella

by Tennessee3 on 12/12/17Birmingham Children's Theatre at the BJCC - Birmingham

Unfortunately I chose this play to take my 10 year old daughter for a mother daughter day, I drove 2 hours and 2 hours back, we got up and left after 40 minutes, I would have left earlier but we wanted to see if it would get better. Several other patrons left also with their children.

    Not what I expected

by EnderFields on 12/12/17Birmingham Children's Theatre at the BJCC - Birmingham

I recommend this but know going in that this is not your typical Cinderella story. The bottom line is the same but they throw in a few twist. I thought it was hilarious. I don't know how I feel about educating my daughter this early in men dressed up as women.

    Cinderella

by Ruthanne123 on 12/9/17Birmingham Children's Theatre at the BJCC - Birmingham

I was very disappointed that this production wasn't, in my opinion, "Family Friendly." I guess I was expecting the old traditional version. When I brought my 4 and 7 year old grand-daughters to this production, I was very disappointed. Adult innuendos, loud and boisterous slap-stick, and many scenes of behavior that was certainly not worth emulating. Oh, well ... I'll check better next time.

Not Cinderella that I grew up with.

by 2grandsons on 12/7/17Birmingham Children's Theatre at the BJCC - Birmingham

I was thinking the real story, like before. It's OK with the characters you had but wasn't expecting it. Kinda funny but still felt sorry for Cinderella!!

    Hilarious!

by Blah52 on 12/5/17Birmingham Children's Theatre at the BJCC - Birmingham

Took my 6 yr old granddaughter to see this and we were not disappointed! Very politically correct Version of Cinderella with much action & comedy. Some over the heads of a child but kept the adults laughing. Really well done performance. Cinderella has a beautiful voice I might add!

Should have said cinderalla with major twist

by Ellaleigh on 12/5/17Birmingham Children's Theatre at the BJCC - Birmingham

We were a group of 8 with five adults and 3 children We were very disappointed. Step sisters should have not had a beard with hairy chest. Cinderalla per my 3rd grader. “Cinderalla has blonde hair”. We were very upset with adult humor. And the songs had nothing to do with Cinderallla. Maybe you should have changed title or added to title to let people know there was so many chsnges
