Cinderella - Alberta Ballet Tickets

It was a superb experience. The performance was beautiful. Kudos to Alberta Ballet.

Took my daughter to see this. We left after the intermission. Was very slow and she was very bored. Would not go back. Was hoping for a better more lively experience.

Ten girls in my family all attended the Cinderella Ballet on Friday night…ages 72-4 yrs old..we all enjoyed the performance

The anticipation of gathering for a performance was met with Prosecco for sale and twirling young hopeful ballerinas dressed in their finest for the first Alberta Ballet in 2 years! However, late patrons were allowed in after curtain went up and people ate and drank in their seats. I wondered if Calgary is too casual for the ballet or have they simply forgotten how to respect performers and members of the audience that are not at home on their couch?

There should be parking kiosks in the lobby... it's dark and cold and the lineups are horrible. Leaving the venue is a chore when you have to sit in line to get out of the lot for over 15 minutes. Loved the ballet but was surprised we did not know the music score. I would like to see less expensive tickets that you can still see and hear the ballet.

Really loved the set design and lighting , it was magical ! The talent was wonderful , the flow was well choreographed, costumes lovely ! A little long in the second half , and I wished they would have used music from the actual original movie . Also we were expecting her gown to be more spectacular and more like her gown in the movie, but other than that, very good show ! We went at matinee and there were many kids which is fine , Most of them We’re well behaved , however , I just think food should not be allowed as there was lots of crinkling with chip and snack bags . Drinks are fine as they are quiet, but i don’t think food should be allowed . I think we can all go two hours without eating .

Of course watching the dancers was mesmerizing. Their strength and grace is awe inspiring. However, I found myself disappointed that the music was recorded and the dancers were often out of sinc with it. Music came in after the dancers started to dance and finished before the dancers were done. Not sure that I will return unless they are performing a ballet that I just absolutely must see.

The premiere of this event was fantastic. The dancing was captivating and it was so easy to follow the storyline. Great performers excellent ballet
