CHUCKIE IN CONCERT:
Dutch DJ/producer Chuckie is a progenitor of the nascent dirty house scene, helping create the genre with his Dirty Dutch series of albums characterized by needly synth lines over Latin-infused EDM beats. His appeal to fans verges on a full-out cultural movement, drawing hordes of beat-hungry followers to club events featuring dancing, state-of-the-art light shows, and other interactive stage elements. Hot on the heels of a lauded New Year’s Eve performance at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Chuckie has fans chomping at the bit for tickets to his 2014 club dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Chuckie's Latin roots help explain his unique brand of house music — born in Paramaribo, Suriname, he grew up influenced by the small nation's multi-cultural music scene, beginning to earn a reputation for his innovative mixes as a DJ during high school. After his early singles began climbing the Dutch charts in the mid-2000s, Chuckie kicked off the Dirty Dutch album series with his 2007 full-length release of the same name. A slew of albums, singles, and remixes would follow, including productions for T-Pain, Lil Jon, and Marina and the Diamonds. While his reputation as a producer has continued to build, Chuckie's skills as a live performer continue to be his biggest strength, making him one of the most coveted international club DJs in the world.
I had a great night, tons of wonderful people, the music was on point and the venue was perfect. One thing that really got my upset was that at the end of the night I got kicked out for giving a lightshow.
It was simply amazing... having friends by your side and the whole night to yourselves, great music and great vibes. i cant wait till next time.
My friends and I traveled from San Jose, CA to see one of THE best DJ's. Chuckie played one of the best sets I have ever heard! He killed it, so did Showtek & TJR! I love SoCal, we stayed at the Radisson which was walking distance from the venue; very convenient.
Killer line up but the speaker placement and visuals could have been more thoroughly set up to surround he crowd for a 360 degree sound and visuals to destroy the crowd. I liked the effort but a few lasers and a line of a couple speakers placed near the back of the venue would have added a lot more sound and deff needed more BASSS!!! Overall I love what LED is doing. I'm a supporter and will continue to go to led events to support their productions.
The security was a bit riduclous with all the shoe checking in the beginning but overall a great show with great production and performers!
The lineup for this show was unbelievable. Pegboard Nerds set up the atmosphere with some sick beats and TJR did not let the energy drop for one second. Showtek killed it, playing some of their great songs, delivering awesome beat drops and saving us all in the front with a CO2 gun. Chuckie brought the hip hop and trap along with dope visuals that made it hard to look away. This was one of the most energetic, fun, and friendly shows I've ever been to! Thanks to all of the DJs and LED for making this an unforgettable night!!
I love going to the Shrine! TJR, Showtek, and Chuckie were amazing! Loved it!
The Sound quality was great. Drinks were over prices as always. My favorite part about this event was the clean bathrooms. Please thanks all of the staff that stood on too of that! ill definitely be back there for another event of that nature!
