Amazing weekend in the arena! Thank you for have a variety of food. Customer service in the building was friendly and helpful.
We didn’t realize we had to get our tickets through Ticket Master and thought we could get them at the door. Once we figured out we had to use Ticketmaster, the process went smoothly and transferring tickets to family members was simple. Overall using Ticketmaster was a good experience.
While the event moved very slowly, it was entertaining and fun to see the high quality wrestling. My son just missed out on State this year and it was very motivating for him. Hopefully I'll be watching him there next year.
Very expensive for the wrestlers families. We were also not warned that we couldn’t bring food in this year. Our daughter made the finals and it was difficult to find somewhere near the mat to watch, and the people with the seats near the mat were rude. Came down the stairs to take podium pictures and got kicked out by arena staff. Please consider the wrestlers families next year.
Great venue. Lots of space to move around with kids
The cost of everything was so expensive. Having to leave and pay for reentry. The parking claimed it was 15, however we were charged $20.00 if it was cash. When all classes merged it was confusing because the girls matches were moved. This could be better communicated to spectators.
As always one of my favorite events at the whole year! The athleticism, amazing coaches and officials make this a must not miss!
It was nice to be able to sit anywhere and move up closer when your kid was wrestling. My first time at State so this was a good experience.
Bad call of referees on a few different mats! Gave a win to a wrestler who got pinned instead of the wrestler who actually pinned him! No chance for him to make it to the finals. CHSAA should allow video review for these types of calls or allow challenges to reverse these types of calls. Athletes shouldn’t be punished for bad calls! Get it together CHSAA!
The seating is very tight and un-comfortable. Also the prices are way too high for a high school event.
The parking passes would not go through , otherwise ok .
Great wrestling! Ticketmaster easy to use to get tickets!
State wrestling is always a great event. Well organized. Staff was efficient and polite.
Workers were very helpful and friendly. Seats were nice.
Between doors only opening at best an hr before and the lines if you have a wrestler in the lower weight classes if you don’t stand in line for an extra hr you are very likely to miss them wrestle
It was a great event...the only problem was it was too cold!! The air blowing on our heads was a problem.
I’m not sure how some of these families can possibly afford to attend this event. They charge your for everything possible. A family of 4 can expect to pay a minimum of $400 which didn’t even include food.
It's a wonderful experience for the kids. What a great way to make their moment larger than life. However kicking parents out for every session becomes a financial burden to parents who are trying to support their highschool athlete. Electronic tickets although convenient for some are an awful thing for grandparents. We need up buying 3 extra tickets though the event because Grandma couldn't figure out how to get her 2 tickets. It would be nice if there was a paper ticket option still so you could come prepared for those who might not be a tec savvy..
Loved everything EXCEPT the fact that they opened the doors only an hour before it started. 😭 there were so many people in line that I nearly missed my sons match, and we showed up an hour before they opened doors. Matches started and the line was still outrageous. Either open doors earlier, or hire more staff to open more lines. Everything else was awesome.
Awesome event with some great wrestling!! I enjoy myself every year! If you want good General Admission seats and good parking, arrive 2 hrs early (at minimum) to be in line. My only complaint would be the arena itself. The food was extremely expensive to be subpar at best. Inconsistent portions, we ordered a large chicken strip basket where we got 3 strips and sat next to someone who received 4. We get that event food is expensive but at least be good food. We just stopped buying and ate before/ after the events. There was even a guy outside selling hotdogs for 10$.
