OMG!!!!! What great talent! But it was a CHRISTMAS Festival, The only christmas music that was done was the last 10 minutes of the show. I went with hope to get in the christmas mood.NOT!!!!!
Although performers did their best, outside of Vargas, it was second rate. Soloist had more drama with her hair than her performance. Lighting effects were horrendous. Spotlights were more on audience than performers. It felt like a police search with spotlights flashing in eyes.
The 2010 Christmas Mariachi event was very good. Mariachi Vargas was sensational as always. The other 2 Mariachi groups were good also. One issue I had was why do people get to the show so late - its very annoying - people looking for seats when the show started an hour or so before.
Great music. The sound wasn't calibrated correctly. The singer was hard to hear over the instruments. Also it was too long. I loved the material and the singers.
Host, MC, a bit too long winded; spent too much time on thanking sponsers.
What a wonderful concert. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The groups and the headliner were all terrific. And I especially like that they use only 1/2 of the venue so pretty much any seat is a good seat. Will be attending again next year. A++++++
The music was fantastic. Anna Barbara sang about 6 songs and was beautiful. Yo hablo piquito espanol, yet I missed nothing. The traditions, the sounds, the crowd was an exceptional experience. Mariachi de Mexico and Mariachi de Los Angeles both sang spectacularly. You don't need to know the words to appreciate the music.

Incredibly talented bands filled the whole event with unforgettable mariachi music. This has truly become a family tradition.
This show was awesome, all the groups are very talented if you love Mariachi Music this is the place to be Ana Barbara was "GREAT". Ballet Folklorico was beautiful such talent.
Loved Ana Barbara, we had "NO" idea she was going to be there. So to our surprise, we enjoyed the show. Missed a lot of Mariachi groups, like they did "not" have as many this year. Thanx!!!
