After taking a season off to promote her latest album Lotus, Christina Aguilera has returned to judge The Voice: Season 5 and also contributed a song to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack.
Introduced to the world as a member of the New Mickey Mouse Club in 1994 (along with Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Ryan Gosling, among others), Christina Aguilera first gained notoriety as a solo artist with a song from the Disney film Mulan,” Reflection.” The song peaked at #20 and was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song. She followed that success with her debut album, which spawned the hit singles Genie In A Bottle and What A Girl Wants, both chart-toppers. From that point on, Aguilera’s career has been non-stop, with chart-topping hits like “Beautiful” and “Dirrty.” In 2003, Aguilera’s co-headlining Justified & Stripped tour with Justin Timberlake generated nearly $20 million dollars in ticket sales. With her signature powerhouse voice and trained dance moves, Aguilera’s concerts are filled with energetic, thrilling performances. She brought that energy to her collaboration with Lil’ Kim, Mya, and Pink on the classic disco song “Lady Marmalade,” which spent five weeks at the top of the Hot 100 Billboard Chart. Aguilera also records in Spanish as well as in English, and plans to release new material in 2014.
Very good show i love!!!!! Realy esa marvellous i am very happy
She was so incredible I recommend every one go see her on tour you won’t ever regret it.
First night on tour after 10 year absence and the show was really good. Christina's voice sounds better than ever and she looked like she was having fun. Would see her again and would recommend this show.
Christina was awesome!! Saw here 10 years ago, I think at BB&T Center. I like the Hard Rock much better as a venue. Plus you get to eat a great meal while the crowd thins out. What more can you ask for, great entertainment, food, and drinks. Great night!!!!
Xtina has an incredible voice. You could tell that it was the first stop of the tour, they were still working out a few kinks which is understandable. But overall was a great show! I would’ve liked her to interact / speak more to the audience of instead of just going from one song on to the next.
This was over the top I had law expectations , and was over the top ! The sound , the visual effects
I’ve been waiting to see a show of xtina since her first album... after this show I only can say: She is an amazing artist and human being!!! I will definitely go again to any next Christina’s show in my area
Perfect! Christina Aguilera’s concert was unfogettable. Loved every single peace of the show.
XTina was Amazing & the smaller Venue made it even more special
I loved Christina, but I have three issues with the show. First, 50 minutes late is inexcusable and very unprofessional. My time matters too. Maybe, if she explained why she was late, but she never said anything about it. Second, showing videos between songs is great, but to play an entire song that way, is no good. You would not see that at other top headliners (like Beyonce, Cher, Madonna). Christina is as good as any of them. Finally, sound levels. With Christina's voice and power, she should never be washed out by the band or other singers. Either raise her volume or decrease the volume of the others. Think about it, if I tell my friends about the concert and tell them, that at times, I couldn't hear Christina's amazing voice. It would be hard to fathom, but it was unfortunately true. I loved Christina talking to us and getting very emotional twice. It has been a decade since she was on the road and this was her first show back. I would give 4-4.5 stars, but being late isn't diva, it is just disrespectful.
Christina Aguilera was amazing!!! What an amazing night I spent while seeing her for the first time. She has such an incredible voice, no play-back when it comes to this powerhouse! I totally recommend this tour to everyone that has loved her before and loves the new album, she even included a few of her old songs from BIONIC, B2B, STRIPPED, LOTUS, and her debut album. I can’t wait to see her again, she’s amazing!!!
Vocals amazing as always. Great mix of songs! It was beautiful.
No better way to celebrate our 44th anniversary. Surprised my wife and myself with the concert and both of us were blown away with her performance. Love that girl and her sincerity in her effort to deliver a fantastic show.
Christina Aguilera was incredible live, the liberation tour was fun and refreshing. After 20 years into her career, Christina knows how to work a crowd and her vocals are better than ever. Amazing show! If you have a chance to watch her sing live, you’re in a for a special show.
Probably one of the most exciting concerts that I’ve ever been to. The queen is definitely back and is worth following!
Absolutely phenomenal 2hrs of Xtina in all her splendor. Vocals were amazing and the concert included a wide variety of songs from throughout her career. If you've never seen her, this is a must!
Amazing show. Small personal venue. It was great.!
Xtina is the best singer ever!!! She still got it. The best night of my live. I was left wanting more. It was AMAZING!!!
Great concert, welcome back Christina, her voice is incredible, the outfits, the dancers, some new songs, some old songs, well done, there were times i thought the music was louder than her voice, but had a great time, on our feet the whole concert
There is no words to express my feelings, Tina is not only a great vocalist, she is the one and only voice of a generation. the venue was perfect, everything organized, small venue just for the real fans of her.
