After taking a season off to promote her latest album Lotus, Christina Aguilera has returned to judge The Voice: Season 5 and also contributed a song to The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack.
Introduced to the world as a member of the New Mickey Mouse Club in 1994 (along with Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Ryan Gosling, among others), Christina Aguilera first gained notoriety as a solo artist with a song from the Disney film Mulan,” Reflection.” The song peaked at #20 and was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song. She followed that success with her debut album, which spawned the hit singles Genie In A Bottle and What A Girl Wants, both chart-toppers. From that point on, Aguilera’s career has been non-stop, with chart-topping hits like “Beautiful” and “Dirrty.” In 2003, Aguilera’s co-headlining Justified & Stripped tour with Justin Timberlake generated nearly $20 million dollars in ticket sales. With her signature powerhouse voice and trained dance moves, Aguilera’s concerts are filled with energetic, thrilling performances. She brought that energy to her collaboration with Lil’ Kim, Mya, and Pink on the classic disco song “Lady Marmalade,” which spent five weeks at the top of the Hot 100 Billboard Chart. Aguilera also records in Spanish as well as in English, and plans to release new material in 2014.
They said the show was at 9:45pm. We got there at 9 and she wasn’t on stage until 11:45pm We were standing for almost 3h cause we didd’t to lose our seats. They should be more clear about what time the show actually starts.
While we enjoyed Christina’s performance, it was cut short. According to all the review and social media, it was supposed to be an 1 hour and 45 minutes, but on this particular night, it was only 1 hour and 15 minutes. According to outside sources it was Christina’s boyfriend birthday. That being said, I feel cheated that we missed out on 30 minutes of additional songs. It was a special weekend for my wife and I, since Christina is my wife’s favorite singer and she had never seen her before, she was so excited to go and see her. Again, while her show was amazing, she should have performed for the duration stated.
I got table tickets for this Christina Aguilera based on the recommendation of the concierge at the Palazzo. And I got tickets for Meet and Greet because it was my wife’s birthday coming up and she really likes Christina. When we got to the Voltaire, I had to give up my credit card for the $1000 minimum table charge. Then we were escorted to our table and seats. The seats were packed in so tight with other table seats that you could not move. And we had a spill at the table when one of the seats hit the table. About 10 pm we were told to head up to the gathering area for the Meet and Greet with Christina. We had to wait for over an hour before we could meet with Christina. Then we were getting ready to meet Christina, we were told there would be autographs allowed, no talking to Christina and only her photographer would be allowed to take pictures. And this was for $1000 for each of us. My wife was so upset she did not even want to take a picture with Christina. Because of the time we had to wait, we missed the opening performance. When Christina started her performance, the instrumentation was so loud you really could not hear Christina most of the time. Given the cost of the tickets ($1,000 for 4 people), the Meet and Greet tickets ($2,000) and the bar tab ($1,300 for the 4 of us) to me this concert was not worth the money spent. I would not recommend this concert or this venue at all.
We found the sound to be tinny, distorted and screechy at times. Christina is not a big enough part of her own show, with the opening act and lengthy interludes with backup singers feeling like too much.
Cristina Aguilera was great. She started very late but didn't disappoint. When we booked this show though we had to agree to $250 cover charge for both of us and when we got to the door, we were told that it was $500.- We were scammed, if we didn't agree they wouldn't let us in and worst of all they kept our Driver License and credit card and wouldn't give it back until the end, so we couldn't leave early as we wanted. Again, Cristina Aguilera was great, but the venue is a rip off.
She sounds so amazing!!! Wished I could have gone to a full concert. This was only a show where she sang short parts of her songs. Show was only 1 hour.
"I attended the Christina Aguilera concert at The Venetian, and while the performance itself was spectacular, the venue management left much to be desired, particularly for VIP guests. The check-in process was frustratingly slow, with a wait time of nearly an hour, which seemed excessive given the number of venue staff present who appeared to be unoccupied. Additionally, the venue's priority seems to be securing your credit card information for pre-authorizing expenses, which felt a bit pushy and took away from the exclusive VIP experience one would expect. On a positive note, once inside, the concert was a fantastic showcase of Christina's talent. Overall, the management of the event could definitely use some refinement to match the star quality of the performers they host."
Voltaire was more than amazing. The service, the employees, the waiters and waitresses, the host, the music, Belle d Nuit but after all the above THE Xtina ShOW was out of this world. Short but assertive. Amazing, best singer of the world in a wonderful venue.
We attended the April 12, 2024, performance and needless to say I was disappointed. To start she did not come on stage until 11:15 pm and only performed for an hour with no encore. For the price of the tickets, I expected a longer performance from her.
The show started more than an hour late. Christina was onstage for about an hour. She sounded good and looked good, but not worth the huge price we paid.
Christina provides an amazingly intimate and breath taking experience in the Voltaire Theater at the Venetian. Her voice, songs and set are so beautifully designed as she executes to perfection!! This is the reason you come to Las Vegas - to experience the best shows in the world that can only be created here! We highly recommend this show and recommend getting seats at one of the tables to be able to enjoy the show in comfort, as they also provide a level of intimacy with Christina that you will never be able to duplicate elsewhere! TRULY AMAZING!!!
Christina is THE VOICE OF OUR GENERATION and will remain so, for many to come. The whole show was beautifully designed and executed to perfection. A real intimate experience like no other, set in the gorgeous Voltaire. Get ready for Vocals, Art, Fashion and a lot of Fun.
Xtina brings the house down every time. Christina’s show combined with the Belle De Nuit opening is worth every penny!
On March 1st it was my first time ever in the Voltaire Theater in Venetian Las Vegas. The interior of the theater gave me a nightclub feel and was nice as well. Even though I had to wait an hour and 45 minutes to see Christina it was worth it because she was good as she always is regarding singing and performing. It was nice to see a singer that I have heard about ever since I was in middle school as a preteen-teen. Overall it was a good concert.
This was the best I've seen in a long time. She sure knows how to entertain a small venue. LOVED IT.
The show started at 9:45. She didn’t come on until almost 2 hours later. We had GA standing room only. The venue was horrible for this as it is a flat floor with only a screen on stage. We left early because it was already going to be a late night as it was with the start time. If I could get my money back, I would.
Xtina throws such an amazing show. You can be in anywhere in the building and you will have a great view of Xtina. If you happen to get the VIP table, when purchasing a table be ready to have minimum total of $500.00 for a table of two. The bigger parties will have a much higher minimum to buy.
We were so excited to see Xtina. We booked in advance. My partner had seen her once before and he raved about that experience for years, which was ultimately the reason we decided to pay the insane amount to see her (even from GA). She only performed for about an hour at most and the venue was poorly designed as well. GA is standing only, and 3/4 of the crowd agreed it was not worth what we paid. We couldn’t see Xtina and it was only an hour long show. People were climbing rails and sitting on cocktail tables as they attempted to see her. Not sure if I’d see her again… at least not at this venue, this price, or for this short amount of time. Very disappointed. Honestly wish we could get a refund.
