Christian Nodal is the tattooed face of mariacheño, the romantic wedding of mariachi and norteño music that has taken him from the Sonoran desert to performing a duet with Christina Aguilera at the 2022 Latin Grammys. Nodal introduced mariacheño to the world with the release of “Adiós Amor” in 2017, his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart. Nodal’s 2017 debut Me Dejé Llevar reached No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart and earned him a Latin Grammy for "Probablemente” featuring David Bisbal. Since then, the mariacheño superstar has produced chart-toppers like “No Te Contaron Mal,” “Vivo en el 6” and "Botella Tras Botella," the latter featuring rapper Gera MX. Nodal’s Forajido Tour, which grossed $14.5 million in 2022, cemented mariacheño’s place in American culture and beyond.

by MzCastro on 3/18/19House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoThe Christian Nodal concert was my first time attending an event at HOB, & I had a blast! the event was promoted to start at 9pm, with doors opening at 8pm. We arrived at about 8:15pm & doors still weren't open. We got in line (which was completely wrapped around the building) and shortly there after, the line started moving. I'd say we made it inside by about 8:45 so the staff was very efficient in keeping the line moving. Christian Nodal did not come out on stage until about 9:30-ish, but his performance lasted about 1.5 hrs and he did not disappoint. The DJ was also really good with the music played & keeping the crowd upbeat at all times. It was unfortunate that when we arrived the DJ announced the music would be going on until 2am (club style) and everything ended up getting shut down at 12am, but overall, I'm very happy to have attended this event. Hopefully HOB will be booking more Regional Mexicano artists.

The boy has some lungs on him! If you have a chance, definitely go see him live. He sounds just like his album!
