CHRIS TUCKER IN CONCERT:

Beloved funnyman Chris Tucker continues to keep audiences in stitches with his on-screen roles and hilarious stand-up act. Tucker keeps it classy at his live shows, treating audiences to family-friendly anecdotes from his time on the set of beloved films like Friday and Rush Hour before turning to current events and pop culture. Whether he's impersonating his grandmother or his late friend Michael Jackson, Tucker's razor-sharp wit and impeccable comic timing make for an unforgettable night of laughs on his must-see tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Atlanta-born Chris Tucker attended high school in Decatur before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams of becoming an entertainer. By age 20 he was a regular performer on the Def Comedy Jam, and in 1995 he got his breakout film role in the stoner comedy Friday starring alongside rapper Ice Cube. More silver screen success followed in 1997 with his critically acclaimed role in The Fifth Element, where he played a hilarious reality television host from the future. In 1998 he starred in the first of three movies in the Rush Hour film series, earning $25 million for his appearance in 2007's Rush Hour 3 -- the highest salary of any Hollywood actor at the time. A beloved stand-up comedian with a knack for impersonations and an insider's knowledge of Hollywood power circles, Tucker continues to crack audiences up on his hilarious tours.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Chris Tucker was too funny. I would recommend that everyone go and see his show. He had me in stitches. It's such an excellent show. "

"Chris Tucker was everything we hoped he'd be. He told a lot of personal stories - my favorite being his advice from his Grandpa on marriage. He then showed his singing skills with some more interesting tales. He is just as animated in real life as he is on film."

"My husband and I laughed the entire show. He did great impersonations and did the entire show without using a ton of vulgar language. This man has class and style. A true professional entertainer."

    Funny

by Rory on 1/12/24Meridian Hall - Toronto

Was a good show. I couldn't stop laughing. It was a no phone event, that helped to focus on the show. Alot of jokes felt improvised that made the experience unique.

    It was alreight

by MO on 12/12/23The Anthem - Washington

Chris Tucker was just ok, he did a lot of old jokes. Like he had a joke about Chris Rock and Will Smith slap, that was 2 years ago now and he didn't have a fresh new take on it. Typical Michael Jackson stories and impression. He wasn't terrible but not the best comedy show I've ever seen

    Awesome

by Whatup on 12/11/23The Anthem - Washington

Show was great and funny only thing that was annoying was having to put my phone in this thing which was dumb cause I couldnā€™t access it for anything like I get that we have to respect the artist presenting understandable but if I had a emergency I wouldnā€™t know cause I lack access to my phone. Couldnā€™t even step away to make a phone call to anybody otherwise listening to Chris was amazing and hearing him tell MJ jokes felt like he was still there

    Only OK

by Lmdlmm on 12/10/23The Anthem - Washington

Some funny spots, but overall average. Themeā€™s centered primarily on race, sex, and music. We didnā€™t feel like it was so great that we would want to see him again.

    Absolutely zero parking available

by Nwanzer on 12/10/23The Anthem - Washington

I paid a lot of money for 4 tickets to only arrive (early) and not be able to find parking. The lots were full, traffic was not moving, and therefore completely caused us to miss the show. Honestly, Iā€™m infuriated. I bought tickets months in advance and paid a good deal of money.

    Exceeded Expectations

by Kebin on 12/10/23The Anthem - Washington

This was one of the best comedy shows Iā€™ve been too. The opening act was hilarious. The guy could joke about anything effortlessly. When Chris Tucker came in he brought the excitement. He was hilarious. I smiling the whole show. Also Chris can sing very very good. This was a very pleasant surprise and it was intermixed into his comedy.

    Extra for no reason

by PJacksob on 12/10/23The Anthem - Washington

The venue is beautiful. The process was extra for no reason. He was funny, but the phone lock process was extra. He is the only show that Iā€™ve attended that I had to do this. He was also late and the show was over 3 hours. Last hour he didnā€™t need and wasnā€™t that funny. Love Chris Tucker though.ā¤ļø

    Great venue - okay show

by J in DC on 12/10/23The Anthem - Washington

My first time in Anthem for a show. Fantastic venue. The opening act was good. Chris Tucker was not side splitting hilarious or as clever as some of his contemporaries who do more standup. The show was good - I enjoy his movies - but fell short of great.

    Pick a different Venue

by Marie on 12/10/23The Anthem - Washington

I arrived at 7pm for an event that started at 8pm and drove for over 1 hour and 1/2 to never find street or garage parking available within walking distance. Donā€™t choose this venue as it was not available to accommodate the number of people driving out of state to the event. Needless to say I didnā€™t see the event. šŸ‘ŽšŸ¾

    Good show in DC

    by LAnVA on 12/10/23

I was hesitant to go see him after reading so many bad reviews. I'm so glad that I decided to go, he and his opener did a fantastic show! The Anthem where he was in DC was very nice! I enjoyed his jokes! They are a great team!

    Just not funny

    by Bella on 12/9/23

Glad I wasnā€™t the only one thinking I should have stayed home. He spent a solid 10 minutes talking about the Will/Chris slapā€¦not funny anymore. His name dropping and singing got old very quickly. I donā€™t write reviews but I was that disappointed that I needed to share

    Excellent show

by Vicky on 12/9/23Beacon Theatre - New York

Sorry that I was not feeling well, but I did enjoy the show. I appreciate him coming to New York City. I didn't know we had an accent. šŸ˜‚ He looked great loved the suite. I appreciate him telling us his experience with Michael Jackson. My first experience I was too young to remember clearly but I do remember. It just hurts a lot. Thank you and wish you the best. I wished I could have given you flowers. Thanks again for giving us laugh. Sorry the trains were slow and it was a lot of traffic taking the bus at that time.
