About

Chris Stapleton was a fixture of the Nashville music scene long before becoming a contemporary torchbearer for outlaw country music. The Kentucky native moved to the Music City in 2001 and served as frontman for The SteelDrivers and The Jompson Brothers while writing songs for Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker and more. Stapleton unveiled his debut solo album Traveller in 2015 behind singles like “Nobody to Blame” and his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, “Tennessee Whiskey.” The album reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 six months after its release and has since been RIAA-certified platinum six times. In 2017, Stapleton released the two-volume effort From a Room, and his fourth full-length Starting Over followed in 2020. Stapleton has won eight Grammys and received two additional nominations in 2023 for his fifth album, Higher. Aside from working alongside country music heavyweights like Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Lee Ann Womack and Morgan Wallen, Stapleton has also shared the mic with pop elites such as Taylor Swift, Adele, Justin Timberlake, P!NK and Ed Sheeran.

I had a lawn ticket which was perfect to hear and see the whole show. Chris Stapleton has the most insane voice and his style is unforgettable! He is truly talented. Amazing show, amazing venue. I highly recommend.

  • Stapleton and Stewart at Harveys Tahoe

by RacerXCA on 8/22/18Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys - StatelineRating: 5 out of 5

The show was amazing - the sound, the atmosphere, can't beat it. Good time. Marty Stewart and his band of Superlatives are virtuoso players that, if one is unfamiliar, you will be very pleasantly surprise to see and hear perform in a live setting. Chris Stapleton, well, he is about the best going now a days. The sound of his voice, the quality of his songs - his 1 hour and 30 minute set was Fabulous! Highly Recommend. NOTE: As a courtesy ladies and gentlemen, please don't wear hats and/or hold your phones extended above your heads for entire songs - be mindful of others behind you - We are all trying to see and enjoy the performance from tight quarters.

  • Stapleton Concert

by Dizzygt on 8/21/18The Forum - InglewoodRating: 3 out of 5

I was disappointed. The guitar riffs were silly and time consuming. I went to see Chris Stapleton perform and it felt like a garage jam session. Marty Stuart was spot on.

  • AMAZING!!!!

    by mizzredd78 on 8/21/18The Forum - InglewoodRating: 5 out of 5

I first heard Chris's music while watching TV one night a couple of years ago and was mesmerized by his voice. I went out in search of his music the following weekend and there's been no looking back since. I missed his show last year so knew I had to keep track of him this year. This man puts on an awesome show. You get pure raw vocals and top notch musicians at their best. WOULD DEFINITELY SEE AGAIN!!!!

  • The show was incredible

by Msmeeko on 8/21/18The Forum - InglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

Chris Stapleton was amazing. Unforgettable definitely, better even live than on recording. However, at the forum I ordered a coffee and they knew their lids didn’t fit their cup. My pretzel barely bumped into the cup and the top popped up, spilling coffee all over my arm causing first degree burns.

  • Definitely unforgettable

  • Great concert, Chris sounds amazing

    by StanFan104 on 8/21/18The Forum - InglewoodRating: 4 out of 5

I really enjoyed the concert I had blast, only disappointment was the song selection. There were a several songs I hoped he performed but all in all Chris vocals are amazing a must see live. On another note the forum is ok but not the best specially when it comes to drink service and crowd exits at the venue.
