I danced all night long! Fantastic show! This band is tight and so so talented!
Great show, decent crowd. Tickets arrived timely enough and were priced right.
I have been a giant Black Crowes fan since the first time I heard "Jealous Again" and begged my mother to drive me to the record store to buy the tape. I followed that band's progression every step of the way, remaining a giant fan... CRB is not at all like the Black Crowes, and that is AWESOME. CRB is a unique band that doesn't sound like all too many solo projects that are essentially "the lead singer wants to recreate the band he left but on his own terms." This is the space hippie country boogie band that the Black Crowes sometimes hinted at but never completely embraced... yet they are too rock n' roll to be a real jam band. And that voice: Chris Robinson still delivers 100% and I actually like his older voice more than his early work. Oh.. and the tix were around $20 for nearly 3 hours of music... A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I was shocked to see how proficient Chris was on guitar. His voice was perfect. The sound was perfect and the band was tight. One of the best small shows I have ever seen. Feel blessed to see it!
Seeing CRB was like going back to the days of love, peace, and togetherness. Chris had tons of incense burning through out both sets. Chris had an all-star band that cooked from opening to closing. There was not one slacker playing. Chris played guitar all night which is something that he rarely did with the Crowes. It had the flavor of a Crowes show without sounding like them.
Awesome show. You must catch CRB when you can. They are nothing but amazing.
CRB THANKS FOR AN ENTERTAINING NIGHT OUT! THE BEST OUT THERE!
Amazing show by the Chris Robinson Brotherhood tonight, featuring Chris Robinson, the lead singer of the Black Crowes. The CRB combines boogie rock, melodicism, and psychedelia into a beautifully rendered package of soulful keyboards, amazing vocals and delicate, probing guitar solos. Beautiful and yet also fierce, the CRB combines the best elements of progressive rock and stripped down soul to create a unique sound that defies easy categorization. Their style pays no heed to the mainstream, and is all the better for its pursuit of the ultimate groove, allowing fragile harmonies and gorgeous turns of phrase to take root in one's brain. Great covers of the Grateful Dead and Otis Redding rounded out an incredibly satisfying show that left me feeling grateful for the healing power of music. Add the great people I met and spoke with at the show and you have an evening I won't soon forget.
Chris Robinson Brotherhood was AMAZING. This past weekend was my husband's 30th birthday and one of his gifts was this show. Couldn't recommend them enough.
I have seen Christ Robinson 3 times solo, black crowes about 8 times, this was one of the best shows ever!
I totally love Chris Robbinson and totally enjoyed the jams and love that came from the band, But there seemed to be no key change from song to song and it was hard to dance to such mellow music. I enjoyed myself, but if it's going to be this slow next time, probably won't go back..
This show was awesome. 2 sets of incredible music and jams.
This was an AWESOME show! We will be returning everytime.
