CHRIS JANSON IN CONCERT:
Country singer/songwriter Chris Janson is relatively new to the scene, but he's already earning praise as the future of country music. Hot on the heels of his 2013 debut full-length, Janson released follow-up album Take It to the Bank to critical acclaim in 2014, sealing the deal with fiery blue-collar performances that have earned him a reputation as one of the genre's most exciting live acts. Whether he's giving a mean harmonica solo or waxing romantic on songs like "'Til a Woman Comes Along," Janson never fails to captivate his audiences, promising big things to come as he hits the road for his 2014 tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Missouri, Janson was working as a songwriter as early as 18 years old, collaborating with the likes of Guns N' Roses' Bill Anderson and Holly Williams, granddaughter of Hank Williams, Sr. After relocating to Nashville, he landed a year-long residency at Tootsie's Orchid Lounger, where he caught the attention of Neil Young one night with a cover of Young classic "Cortez the Killer." Releasing his self-titled debut album in 2013, Janson landed two singles on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, "Better I Don't" and "Cut Me Some Slack," but it was his unpredictable live performances that really turned heads. Following the early-2014 release of sophomore album Take It to the Bank, Janson hit the road for a highly anticipated tour in support of the record.

What an amazing show. Full of energy and one of the most humble and caring persons. Got the crowd involved. Everyone was having a great time. Hats off to the Brown County Music Center for such a great venue.
He played all of his newer stuff, but didn't play any of the music that made him popular early. I don't mind a little cover song here and there, but I'd rather here his own stuff. Too much cover music made the show feel a bit cheap.
I was somewhat a fan of Chris Jansen before the show, but after watching his performance there’s no doubt about me being a fan of his now. His songs are even better live! This guy puts his all into his show & really interacts with the crowds while telling stories us small town America folks can relate too. True country boy with a rock n roll twist to his sound. Loved his Lynard Skynard covers near the end of the show. He also interacted with a couple different kids in the crowd, bringing them on stage to sing & play harmonica with him. Such a cool moment for the kiddos they’ll cherish forever. Me and my fiancé got floor seats a few rows back, so worth it - we had soo much fun that we didn’t notice or mind that we were standing the whole show. We were too busy singing & dancing along to care! We would love to see him do a show again & would no doubt attend if he was to return to our area! My favorite country music concert I’ve been too yet!
This was the one of the greatest concerts I’ve ever been to. You never knew what he was gonna do next and the interaction with the kids 🥰 super fun. I really enjoyed he understood what our small town was all about! He is a very humble and fun artist can’t wait to see him again!
Chris Jansen was great. Tons of entertainment !!! And such a great singer !!!
Chris Jansen was awesome put on a great show great performer. Opening acts were to be desired too much talking Could not keep the attention of the audience.
I never saw Chris Janson live before and wow he was spectacular! So very talented and entertaining! However, the venue he was at was not so great and tarnished the show. The Rialto theater has no business doing concerts; it's great for plays, recitals, anything where you sit for the performance. But for the concert, the staff was ordering us to sit down the entire time! Sorry but we do not go to concerts to sit. We go to take in the music, dance, and celebrate the awesome artists performing. I will never attend another concert at this venue.
I’ve went to concerts for 40 years and I will put this one as one of the top concerts I’ve ever attended… It was Nonstop action with him so he kept the crowd going through the entire concert… He played longer than anyone I’ve ever watched other than Eric Church… And he involved the children in the crowd like no other!! Such a family man and amazing entertainer! I will be seeing him again as soon as I can get tickets within traveling distance❤️
Not knowing who Chris is, I went to his concert and wow, this guy has energy. He is a non-stop high-octane performer with a good heart. He had his kids on the backstage, his wife nearby, and was helping some newer artistd with their claim to fame; he seems to be a genuinely good guy with a big heart and an even bigger performance. Also, bring earplugs, he likes it LOUD.
Amazing show. He interacted with the crowd and kids. Totally worth it. Enjoyed it very much. Would probably go again if he performes in West Plains again and funds permit.
This was the best concert that I have attended! He was very entertaining and interactive with the crowd. Would definitely see him again!
This was the most fun I have ever had at a concert. Chris janson is an AMAZING entertainer! Ticket process was perfect.
Chris Janson is better live than on the radio. I was very impressed with His performance. I hope He comes back to Westplains, Missouri again soon.
Chris put on an amazing show for almost 3 hours! Loved how he included the audience and brought children up on his stage! Amazing man! He kept the show going even after he ripped out his pants 😂🤣
He put on a great show. So glad he came to our town of West Plains Missouri. Hope he comes back again
Chris put in a great show full of energy. The intimacy of a smaller venue made it that much better.
Seats were comfortable and this venue was the perfect size for Chris Jansen. It looked like there wasn’t a bad seat. Chris was personable and played great music. Loved hearing the band members play, also. Not too often you get to hear a banjo, fiddle, piano, guitar, drums and the harmonica all in one night! He’s amazing!
Fantastic show. I actually bought the tickets to see Ray Fulcher, but i am now a huge Chris Janson fan too. Excellent show.
Great venue! Chris rocked the house! Can’t wait to see him again!!
