Chris Brown in Concert

Chris Brown, a consummate entertainer who has shifted the climate of R&B culture since his eponymous 2005 debut, has sold in excess of 30 million albums worldwide and surpassed over 10 billion audio streams across digital outlets to date. Brown has won more than 125 awards including a Grammy Award for his album F.A.M.E. in 2011 and has amassed over 7.5 billion YouTube views - including over 40 music videos that each have more than 100 million views earning him the title of male artist with the most Vevo certified videos ever and 'Diamond' status from the streaming platform.

A chart topping force, Brown has made more Billboard Hot 100 entries since the start of his career than any contemporary male singer alive to date, spending 160 consecutive weeks charting on the Hot 100. His last album Heartbreak On A Full Moon has been streamed over 1 billion times on Spotify and has been certified 2X platinum. The album spent more than a year on the Billboard Hot 200.

An accomplished entrepreneur and business owner, Brown's tenacity behind his venture into fashion with his Black Pyramid brand has transformed his business from a digital fashion giant to acquiring a worldwide distribution deal and being carried in major retailers globally. In addition, Brown's commitment to philanthropy is as important to him as his professional pursuits - including his dedication to the Symphonic Love Foundation, a charitable organization that he founded which supports and creates arts programs for youth. Brown has also donated his time and resources to various non-for-profit organizations including St. Jude Children's Hospital, Best Buddies, Hurricane Harvey victims, and Colin Kaepernick's recent "10 for 10" million dollar pledge.

Overall, the show was amazing. I am so happy that my dtr and her cousin had an opportunity to see so many artists in one venue perform and really bring their game to the stage.

The concert was a total dissapointment!

by EricaEv on 10/28/09IZOD Center - East Rutherford

The sound system was the most horrible thing I've ever heard. It was unbelievable. As the singers performed, there was screeching in the microphones. The base was so strong that your ear drums were vibrating and you could not hear the voices. Some of the artists lacked enthusiasm, as if they were performing for free! I think the sound system was totally unfair to the artists, it ruined their performances! And the camera man was horrible!!!!! It seemed as if his camera was stuck in one position or he had no idea what panning meant! Horrible!

Chris Brown is still the man.

by MecaLatte on 10/28/09IZOD Center - East Rutherford

I think chris brown may have stayed away too long. He needs to put himself back on the map. Even with the bad publicity surrounding him he is stii and exceptional performer and has a excellent voice and range.

Trey Songz made everyone KNOW HIS NAME...SONGZZ!!!

by Naji on 10/28/09IZOD Center - East Rutherford

Trey Songz was absolutely amazing!!!!!! Ive been to other concerts and never considered myself to be a concert individual but this particular concert had great artists and perforformers. I mainly went to see Trey Songz, but Chris Brown was amazing as usual. Day 26 was also great, so was Mario and it was great to see other artists such as Maino, Red Cafe, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones (whose leather jacket was delicious, loved it!!), Ryan Leslie, and Omarion. Those were all great surprises. Fabolous was incredible, I was a fan but not a big fan of his but i loved his stage presence he really did his thing. The Drem was good considering the talk of his other performances not being so great. Keri Hilso looked beautiful she was good as well. I wished she sang my favorite song off her album. I am also surprised it only just recently went gold, her album is hot from begin to end. But my baby Trey Songz tore up the concert with Panty Droppa and Neighbors Know my Name, loved him, he was spectacular!!!!!!!

    AWESOME

by mello818 on 10/28/09IZOD Center - East Rutherford

POWERHOUSE WAS OFF-THE-HOOK. CHRIS BREEZY DID HIS THING - HE IS DEFINITELY A PERFORMER. WOULD TO SEE HIM AGAIN. TREY SONGZ PREFORMANCE WAS GOOD BUT I WAS LOOKING FOR HIM TO BRING OUT DRAKE AND THAT WOULD HAV KILLED IT. FAB FITTED RIGHT IN - I THINK HE SHOULD HAVE BRUNG OUT LIL MO. KERI WAS GOOD. MARIO DID HIS THING AND THE SPECIAL GUEST WERE PRICELESS. DAY26 NEVER DISAPPOINT ME. BUT I HONESTLY THINK THE DREAM COULD HAVE STAYED HOME.

    Power House 2009

by Anonymous on 10/28/09IZOD Center - East Rutherford

The concert was amazing. Chris Brown, Trey Songz, and everyone else did their thing. For CB's first concert after his incident he put it down, this was my first time seeing him in concert and it was very memorable. I liked everyone who was on the line up tho because there was never a dull moment, I sand along to each and every song.

by NikiB on 10/28/09IZOD Center - East Rutherford

The show was amazing. Everyone was great!!! I'm really not a Hip Hop lover so I could have done with out Fabulous,in an R&B show, but he did well also. It was so good seeing Chris Breezy perform again. I missed his voice and he does have a beautiful one. Keep up the good work Chris, I'll come anywhere just to see you.

    Trey wuz the truth!!!!

by Caramelsundae04 on 10/28/09IZOD Center - East Rutherford

For this to have been an event I wasn't going to attend, I must certainly say I enjoyed myself. I saw Keri Hilson previously as an opening act for Keyshia Cole @ NJPAC (Newark, NJ) during the summer and I enjoyed her performance. She is definitely talented and can sing. The Dream was also there. However, I think his performance was better when he opened for Keyshia....I could have did w/o him @ the powerhouse. On the other hand, Mario did his thing. He is an exceptionally talented young man. Now that Trey Songz....mmmm mmm mmm!!! I loved every bit of his performance. Would have loved to hear more songs from his previous album but when he sang "Neighbors know my name", the crowd went crazy!! I've been listening to him since his first album and I can honestly say I am proud of his progression towards being an outstanding artist. Finally Chris Brown.....he still has it. After everything he has been through within the past year, he still can put on a performance and sing a great song. There were a few times in which I think he was lip singing b/c he was focused on the dance routine, but that was okay b/c we all know he can pop, lock and drop it! *LOL* Great come back Chris Breezy!!!! Again I enjoyed the show and can't wait to see who is in the line up for next year!!!! :0) Good job Power 105!!!

Powerhouse was a great show!!!!! Overall all the performers did an excellent job! Chris Brown, Trey Songz, and Mario were definitely my top 3!!! A better sound system was the only thing missing that would have made this an all-star event!

    105.1 Powerhouse was amazing.

by Tae11 on 10/28/09IZOD Center - East Rutherford

I believe the show was outstanding and each act gave the audience something different and most importantly energy. I was so enthused to see Treyson perform for the very first time. His vocals were better than expected and he has a soulfoul edgy voice. I really enjoyed the show and like how each act perform promptly.

    Very Pleased

by claibdi1 on 10/28/09IZOD Center - East Rutherford

if I can acknowledge on thing I didn't really care about the show was the sound system. sometimes during the performance the tremble was so loud, which caused the microphones to have plenty of feedback. Overall I was pleased with the peformers and the show itself. Thanks for the memories... My teenage daughters had a blast!!! Sincerely, Smiley Dee
