Chris "Big Dog" Davis Tickets

My friend and I attended 4 Boscov's Berks Jazz Fest concerts in Reading, Pennsylvania at the Doubletree Hotel in August 2021. The performances were astounding. Top-notch talent and great acoustics in the Grand Ballroom gave me shivers down my spine. Two of the concerts included brunch. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The blintzes were the best I ever had. The Hotel staff and volunteers made certain everything was extremely well organized for the four concerts. After two of the concerts, we had dinner at Cheers Bar in the Hotel Lobby. The food was very good and the Martinis were exceptionally good. Parking in the Hotel garage was very easy. They even gave us free parking by showing our bar or restaurant receipt. I can't say anything negative about this Jazz Fest. I can't wait for next year's event. I will definitely be there again.

Each and every artist was at their best. Special thanks to Art Sharrod Jr., Maysa, Chris Davis, and Eric Darius for the great performances.

As the kids say today, the concert was "LIT!" Chris "Big Dog" took his time and all of the artists were on point. I was especially pleased with Eric Darius. I never paid too much attention to his music but his performance was something to behold. I even bought his CD and a hat. Definitely a fan and definitely doing Berks again next year!!!

Another show put together by Chris Davis, that Chris Davis, Maysa, Nick Colionne, and the Gospel Choir was totally outstanding along with the other artists👏🏿👏🏿

I was impressed how easily one performance flowed to the next. However, I was concerned about the seats being so close to each other, and no one wearing a mask. Someone behind me got extremely sick, and that took my attention from the stage. Glad I was able to move to the rear to finish the show.

An outstanding job of paying tribute to the legend! Organized extremely well and MAYSA - OMG - no words do her performance justice. Record it girl!!!

Chris "Big Dog" Davis brought together some "FRIENDS" who each uplifted our appreciation for smooth jazz. Like notes from a favorite song, everything flowed smoothly from the venue to our seats and the artists' performances. Needles to say "We'll be back again next year !!!

Chris Davis was amazing as he always is!! One of the best shows ever! If you have not seen him or booked him, what are you waiting for!!! Amazing producer, pianist and entertainer!!!!

Entertainer were rushed to perform. Extend allotted time to let entertainer play without being pulled off or lights turned on to end set.

The show was fantastic. They gave you your money’s worth plus more. See you next year.

All of the artist were wonderful. Erick Dariaus and Brian Lenair were awesome and they need to have their own shows and be invited to other jazz festivals. Big Dog really did a tremendous job. We enjoyed it and will come back again.

It was evident that the artists LOVED what they do. Chris” Big Dog” Davis was 🔥🔥🔥.

The production of this show was not what we expected. The show was too heavy on instrumentation and not enough background vocals. The arrangement of many songs left several unrecognizable. When it’s difficult to be able to sing along to songs of your favorite artists, then the show isn’t for me. We left at intermission very disappointed Also, the Doubletree venue for these large shows is not nearly as nice as the Sovereign Performing Arts Center or the Scottish Rite facility where it’s much easier to see the stage, nothing better than having a sloped seating arrangement.

“Big Dog” Always gives a great show, every time he comes to Berks it’s always a great time and when he’s accompanied by Maysa you know your money was well spent!!! Along with the hosts of saxophonist and vocalist (Allyson Williams) this was an awesome show, and certainly looking forward to seeing Chris “Big Dog” Davis out do himself once again next year!!!!
