CHIODOS IN CONCERT:

Post-hardcore rockers Chiodos have had fans headbanging to their pulsing music even since their explosion onto the punk scene in 2004. Whether lead singer Craig Owens is crowd surfing or getting the crowd pumped up during songs like "Baby, You Wouldn't Last A Minute On The Creek," the frontman brings an intensity to their live shows that can't be matched. The band's powerful playing commands the stage, often provoking mosh pits that perfectly mirror the band's fire and intensity. Chiodos hits the road in 2014 with Emarosa on a headlining tour in support of their fourth LP Devil.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Michigan natives Chiodos met in high school in 2001 and began playing gigs at local all-ages venues around their hometown. Four years later they released their debut album All's Well That Ends Well, landing at No. 3 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart and earning opening spots on tours with Armor for Sleep and Matchbook Romance. Chiodos' sophomore LP generated even more buzz for the band, peaking at No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative chart and landing them gigs with Linkin Park and Nine Inch Nails. Despite several lineup changes, the band continues to make one hit record after the next — their latest is 2014's Devil — and they'll treat fans to another round of hit-filled sets during their upcoming tour dates.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Chiodos kicked ass. They were so tight and had great energy. Thought 3 am and the song they played right after that were best of the night."

"It was one of the best concerts that I've ever been to. They got into it with the crowd, the set list was amazing, and they had me more and more engaged throughout the entire show."

"Chiodos gave an exceptional performance and the energy throughout the crows was great. My feet did not stay on the ground for longer than a second."

Chiodos, back together and stronger than ever!!!!!

by Bandmomalso on 12/20/13Masquerade - Atlanta

This was one of the best shows that I have been to by Chiodos. Craig and Derrick being back and with the addition of Thomas as well as the rest of the original lineup made this a very special show. I did not stop smiling the entire show! Thanks guys, can't wait until I can see you again, a night to remember in Atlanta!!!!!!!!!

    The crowd was wild

by Anonymous on 12/19/13Masquerade - Atlanta

This show was definitely worth the long drive from Tuscaloosa. Chiodos gave an exceptional performance and all of the opening acts were at the very least likable. What made the show great though was the energy throughout the crowd. My feet did not stay on the ground for longer than a second.

    The most energetic concert ever!

    by remy1987 on 12/19/13Masquerade - Atlanta

I have never heard of Set It Off. They come out on stage with a vengeance!!!! There was lots of energy and authenticity from the start. Our Last Night held their own as well and was very entertaining. Chiodos finished the night off with one of the best performances I have ever seen. Partially attributed to the small venue with close interaction and the overwhelming amount of crowd energy and excitement! I wish I could see this show every night!!

Another night in hell was heaven!

by DiDar on 12/19/13Masquerade - Atlanta

Masquerade's lower level "hell" is a superb venue for the bands. Small enough to meet all the bands, big enough for major crowd surfing- which never ended. By the time Chiodos came out even the diehard surfers were looking tired. One patron was removed by the police but other than that it was just plain fun. Even the local bands were great. I had never seen Chiodos- a bit more "heavy" than my preference but a number of their quieter (if that's possible)songs were almost enough to make me buy their CD's. Cody from Set it Off was on his game. I've seen him many times and I think this was his best performance. Their Christmas song was fabulous & sounded just like the MP3.

    I'm probably biased....

    by brklynx3 on 2/1/13The Basement - Columbus

But Chiodos always put forward an amazing show. The guys are always crazy and no matter if they are playing an intimate show for 300 or a warped tour main stage the crowd is pure chaos.

Chiodos Put on One Hell of a show

by Thelovehatehero on 2/1/13The Basement - Columbus

I overall enjoyed the show it wasnt actually at the basement as was advertised on the tickets. it was actually at A&R Music bar located upstaris from the advertised venue. It may have been slightly on the crowded side for as many people that had showed up but everything up until Chiodos came on stage was alright the sound leveling was a tad off and some crackling in the PA but not too big of a deal but once Chiodos stepped on stage all hell broke loose which isnt a bad thing in any way it was just very crowded and Im not sure why in the end they had decided to relocate the show at the last minute but overall they but on a hell of a show and Im so glad they got their original frontman back and hope all goes well for them and cant wait to see what else they have in store for their fans.

    Chiodos with New Singer

by SeanyBushkill on 4/30/10Grog Shop - Cleveland

I'm sure that most of us were very skeptical if Chiodos could be the same after the departure of Craig Owens as lead singer. I know that I was. Looking for local events coming to town I decided to give Chiodos a chance since I've been a fan for quite some time now.....and i'm glad I did. Although new lead singer Brandon Bolmer may not have the stage presence of Craig Owens, he does have the potential and has one fierce scream. The show opened up with 'The Undertakers Thirst For Revenge is Unquenchable' and Mr. Bolmer delivered it like a punch to the face. They played only a 45 minute set due to time constraints delivering their biggest hits along with a few new songs. The new Chiodos is heavier and sicker than ever and I can't wait to see what they do and where they go next Can't wait for the new album. Amazing Show!

by hippiepunk on 4/19/10The Basement - Columbus

going into this show i wasn't sure how it would turn out. i was a huge fan of craig owens. he is one of the best frontmen out there today in this washed up scene. so needless to say i was heart-broken when he was kicked out. enter saturday night. i was sure the rest ofthe band would blow it up as always. holy cow, brandon fit right in. he may have a little more engery than craig.
