    Are You My Mother?..was great

by MarAmmo on 1/16/12Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

My 3 1/2 year old grand daughter and I spent a cozy Sat. morning together. It was a fun way to introduce her to the concept of a play vs. a DVD. Of course as soon as it was over she said- "Let's watch it again" and I had to explain that she couldn't but we had a wonderful time. The venue was comfortable. I was able to park just a few doors from the entrance (which was important to me). Over all- we would do it again!

    Duck for President wonderful!

by Captfab on 5/9/11Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

This was a terrific for both my daughter and us as parents! The set was simple but the acting, singing and costumes were wonderful. The play gave a musical overview of some of her favorite books so she saw the books come to life. It was such a benefit to her as she is still talking about it 2 days later!

    Click, Clack, Moo wonderful!

by Captfab on 2/2/11Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

We took our 6 year old daughter and her friend to Click, Clack, Moo and it was great fun for them (and us!). The actors were wonderful at both singing and dancing, costumes adorable and the set was very creatively designed for a small stage. Although it was for young children, parents need to teach their children to refrain from talking, but mostly parents need to learn not to talk during a performance, it's rude. My daughter and her friend learned at a young age that if you need to talk during a live performance, whisper. The first play in the series didn't have rude parents talking throughout. Otherwise it was a great show.

    Click, Clack, Wonderful

by Jnepa on 1/31/11Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

Great my 2 year old loved it. It lasted about an hour and I found myself laughing right along with the kids. It was truly wonderful how they took the book and made it a musical/play. My favorite character had to be the duck with the farmer second, they were great. The scenery was also real cool.
