Chicago Bulls History

Founded in 1966, the Chicago Bulls are known for being one of the NBA's greatest dynasties. During their inaugural 1966–67 season, they posted a 33-48 record, which was the best by an expansion team in NBA history. They qualified for the playoffs and were the only NBA team to do so in their first season.

Between 1991 and 1998, the Chicago Bulls won six NBA championships, with two of them being three-peats. Leading the six championship teams were Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and coach Phil Jackson. The Bulls are the only NBA franchise that have never lost an NBA Finals series. During the 1995–96 season, the Bulls became the first NBA team to win 70 games or more when they won a total of 72 games, which set an NBA record that remained until the 2015–16 season when the Golden State Warriors won 73 games.

The Bulls made waves again in the 2010–11 and 2011–12 seasons, led by Derrick Rose, the NBA’s youngest Most Valuable Player, and Defensive Player of the Year Joakim Noah.

    Bulls Game

by Shellibean on 11/18/09United Center - Chicago

Great as usual. The game was a little too exciting and losing by one point was disappointing. The Carvery Bar was the best. Nice to see Tom and Kara, again. Go Bulls!!

    Bulls and 76ers

    by Sunsh111 on 11/15/09United Center - Chicago

It was a good game to watch. The Bulls were losing in the beginning but captured a lead that they were able to maintain throughout the game. Although it was not a game where I was on the edge of my seat, it is always good when your team wins.

    Great Seats, Greater Game

by ergit on 11/11/09United Center - Chicago

This is the first time I sat in 200 level. 200 level seats have great views and include a waiter for drinks until the end of the 3rd quarter. The game was a very close affair. I was able to see all the action clearly. Also if I missed the play the jumbo-tron view was wonderful from my seats

    Noah Ruled!!!

by crookedpost on 11/8/09United Center - Chicago

The traffic to get there was horrible, but thats Chicago. The parking helpers were helpful. Really bad basketball for 3 quarters (except for Noah), then an exciting finish. What more do you need?

    Noah & Salmons ruled!

    by Miller5000 on 11/8/09United Center - Chicago

My friends & I were in the "cheap seats" but we still had a great time at the game. The Bulls started off slow, but finished strong at the end. Joakim Noah had the best game of his career & Salmons was aggresive on offense. (Now, if only they could've made their free throws, we could've got some FREE BIG MACS. ) We got a kick out of the doughnut & water truck/van races on the scoreboard. (My card was a dud.) Hopefully, we'll be back for the Playoffs.

I enjoyed the basketball game itself but the overall atmosphere surrounding the game is just too much. It seems like every second away from game was used to plug in some type of advertisement. The donut race, the "loud-o-meter", the McDonald's sponsored t-shirt guys, etc.. It's too much. It would be nice if they just let the basketball game itself build the atmosphere.

    by MIKE129837742 on 10/30/09United Center - Chicago

You can't beat the experience of seeing the Bulls live. The only negative thing I can think of is that there aren't any cup holders on the chairs. Benny the Bull RULES!
