    Great Performance!

by Gauchogal on 6/18/18The Forum - Inglewood

Great concert!! REO Speedwagon hit it out of the park! Their performance was great from the beginning and ending with a tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. Their songs are timeless! Chicago started off with 4-5 unknown songs and was dreading the rest of the evening not knowing if that’s how it was going to be for 2 hours. However, Chicago redeemed themselves by playing all their hit songs the rest of the concert, and loved that the fans were dancing and singing along. It turned out to be a great night!

The sound was awful. We left by the 3rd song. I got a headache that was so painful, we had to leave.

    Chicago was amazing!

by Crystalitis on 6/18/18The Forum - Inglewood

This show exceeded my expectations. Reo Speedwagon opened and really got the crowd going! They sounded great and I was reminded of the many hits that they had. It was great to hear them all again. Chicago was simply epic. They started by playing all of Chicago 2 ...to be able to hear the Ballet For a Girl in Buchannon performed in it's entirety was really special. This was followed by song after song of Chicago classics. They played for close to 3 hours. I would love to see them again and hope they play in the LA area in maybe a smaller venue...like the Greek would be nice ;-). So, Five stars for Chicago and REO Speedwagon. Three stars for The Forum for the long lines for drinks that never moved and for the sad half glass of beer that I bought for ten dollars from the waitress. This averages my vote to 4 stars. See you at the next gig!

REO was great, Chicago not so great!

    by Stillnot50 on 6/18/18The Forum - Inglewood

We loved REO and were excited to see Chicago again after a few years. Chicago did not start out well, the sound was terrible and we left after about 30 minutes. They were not what they used to be. Also missed the 2 bands playing together like Chicago used to do.

    Chicago still rules

    by ValleyBoy2 on 6/18/18The Forum - Inglewood

They have withstood the test of time. Chicago is one of the all time greatest bands. Hands down. This is my third time seeing them and they still rock.

    Chicago

    by SKM8 on 6/18/18The Forum - Inglewood

REO Speedwagon was good, the sound and acoustics not so good. Chicago was so disappointing... everyone was on their phones because it was so awful, people went to listen to the oldies that we love so much & they played music to promote their new album. Concert go-ers all around us were disappointed. We decided to leave when Chicago decided to take a 15 min break!!! Seriously? Save your money future Chicago concert people!!!

Chicago was great the sound was terrible

    by trevorb18 on 6/18/18The Forum - Inglewood

The forum needs to spend money on a sound surround system. We were on the side and sound was bad. Going to Elton John there and hope it is upgraded by then.

Reo was great. Chicago played all of their new stuff which nobody wants to hear. We left after "side one" as did many other people.

Really went to see Chicago and was not happy with their set list. The musicianship was great but the show was boring.

    Chicago was great

by BBJJJ on 6/17/18Concord Pavilion - Concord

Couldn't hear the words of REO Speed Wagon the music was so loud, didn't enjoy that. Loved Chicago, they played a lonnnnng set. Some complained that Chicago 11 was a bit boring, but not to me, had to fill the time with something and they did play a lot of their well know hits also.

    REO and Chicago

by Farmerquigg on 6/17/18Concord Pavilion - Concord

REO Speedwagon was great it was the first time I’d seen them and I thought they were precious and connected and I really liked the music and I would love to see them for at least twice as long as they played they were great. Chicago was stellar excellent musicians their voices were in prime condition their showmanship was fabulous and very technical seeing them 40 years after I saw them the first time in Germany I realized how much jazz they play and I’m not really a jazz fan but I did love the classics and the pop songs that they played that were popular when I was a kid

Love the band, not the concert

by Raygee on 6/16/18Concord Pavilion - Concord

Have seen them a few times over the years. Always been great except this time. The left big screen had double vision. (was out of focus) Fortunately we had good seats and could see the band pretty good. But most importantly the sound was not that great. Sometimes the singer sounded like they were in a box. Hopefully they will get the sound better next time.

Poor sound mix - REO great, Chicago unlistenable

by MusicIsLifeson on 6/16/18Concord Pavilion - Concord

Sitting in the front row meant that we didn't hear the mix coming from the speakers, only from on-stage, so while this wasn't a huge deal for REO (who played awesomely as usual, especially Bryan on the drums!), for Chicago, it meant I couldn't hear the vocals much at all. REO played superbly as usual, with lots of energy, but the sound was no where near as good as when I've seen them play elsewhere. Chicago's musicianship was obviously great, but playing Chicago II in its entirety was a bad (and boring) choice. Almost left before the end (which I *never* do), but hung on till the end.

    Changing With Time

by norcalguy on 6/16/18Concord Pavilion - Concord

REO was fabulous and put their all into all their classics! Great job and the audience loved it. Chicago is still a great group of talented musicians. But they have gone in a different direction than the one that brought them fame. We all wish them well. Concord Pavilion is a great location with awesome staff assisting everyone. I highly recommend it!
