Chi-Town Spring All-Star Comedy Jam Tickets

I want my money back! I ordered tickets for this concert just to see Dominique. Imagine my surprise when I heard her say on the Tom Joyner Morning Show that she would be performing in Virginia Beach the same night she is advertised to appear in Chicago! I do enjoy Lavell Crawford but I have seen him several times and was really looking forward to seeing Dominque. Moving on, overall the concert was not worth the money. If it wasn't for Lavell Crawford and Jay Lamont, I wouldn't have chuckled., and I was typsy! I give both of them thumbs up. The promoter should be ashamed. Chicago is a big city. Home of some of the biggest comedians. We deserved a better lineup.

Four of the comedians were great! Lavell Crawford STOLE the show. He was dead on about the not so funny comedians as well. Over all great show.

The show just seemed very thrown together. None of them were funny. Even the headliner Lavelle, was horrible. I was very disappointed and will not go to any more shows featuring any of these comics. I do think the host Damen was funny and did the best with what he had to work with.

Their where only 2 comedian that did there thang on stage, the rest of them need to go practices some more and the Vanessa Friction need to be subtracted out of comedy with the first act that came out, I hate that Dominque was not there to perform, If that line up every come back the only one I would pay to see is Lavelle!!!

I was able to get some great seats for this event and wouldn't you know it, it was a bust!!! I came for a comedy show and what I saw was a human sound machine that just made sounds not funny. Joe Tory whom is good in movies but stand up is wack!!! Thanks to Levell Crawford the only funny person on the line up to save the night. He came out talking about how lame the others was and the crowd went wild. He was funny for the full length of his time. I will make sure to pay close attention to the line up before I buy another comedy show ticket.

It was ok, a few of the comedians were very funny, but the rest were not so funny.

The show was poorly casted/promoted. Dominique was on the ticket and advertising but was not a part of the show. If it not been for Lavell Crawford, Joe Torry, and Jay Lemont, the show would have been a bust! 3 good out of 8 is not good odds for a comedy show!!

Lavell was hilarious as usual. He is one of the hottest standups and has been for quite a while. Jay Lamont is very talented and gives a wonderful performance. Damon Williams did a very good job as host. TP (who I think is very good) need some NEW material and the others were awful! Dominique was a no show.

Had about 7 acts the first fur were hit or miss. Vanessa Fraction used her same routine from a local club in Tinley Park. If it wasn't for Damon Williams and Lavell the whole show would have been a wash.

I was very very disappointed I bought my tickets in advance, when I heard Monique was coming she did not appear, this was a big time waster for me, I listen to her on the Doug Banks morning show this is how I became to know her. some of the other comics where not very funny this is my first time at a comedy event did know what to expected, but I expected better, Sadly disappointed

There were those who were really funny and then the others were horrible!!! What happened to Dominique? Lavell was wonderful and made up for the mess!!

IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY AND MY TIME! THE BEST WAS THE MC!

First of all, Dominique didn't even show up! TP Hearn was acting crazy, too hyper! Downtown Tony Brown was good in the beginning but fell off towards the end. Jay Lamont was GREAT with all of his impersonations. He was on point as always. Joe Torry seemed ill prepared and took 10 minutes to get into his act. It seemed as though he was nervous but once he got into it, he was FUNNY. The lady they put in for Dominique was just okay. LAVELL CRAWFORD was the STAR! He was hilarious as always and definitely made up for what the others were lacking. As an added bonus, Damon Williams was the host. He was DEFINITELY FUNNY and on point! I don't know why his name wasn't on the show but Damon Williams, Jay Lamont and LAVELL CRAWFORD made the show! The rest can be replaced. I WOULD recommend this show if the tickets were cheaper. They were too expensive for the value of the show.

This was the worst comedy show I ever seen in my life

TP Hearns, Ms. Fraction(minus a fraction) were awful! Torey- so, so.. He only talked about sex-blah. Lavell was great! what happened to Dominique.

I enjoyed most of the show. I was really looking forward to seeing Dominique and was disappointed that she was not there.
