About

Chevelle on Tour

Chevelle is the understated musical powerhouse who have continually delivered rock anthems for the past 24 years. 7 number one hits, 17 songs reaching the top 10 charts, over 4 million records sold in the USA and many more world wide. Platinum and gold albums across their 8 studio records and successful live CD and two live DVD releases completes their extensive body of work to date. It's all credit to their continuing dedication to be true to their craft, the genre and their fans. Chevelle's last two album releases, La Gargola and The North Corridor, both debuted #1 on the Billboard rock charts at #3 and #8, respectively, on the Billboard top 200 charts. With no signs of this Chicago alternative rock trio slowing down any time soon, their numerous chart topping releases have certainly earned this band a place in American rock music history.

After more than two decades together, numerous releases, and countless world wide tours, the outfit consisting of brothers Pete Loeffler [guitars, vocals], Sam Loeffler [drums], and brother in-law Dean Bernardini [bass, vocals] have confidently sailed through decades of uncharted waters and have emerged with a collection that's equally intricate and intimate.

Certainly it builds upon the group's impressive foundation, including the 2002 platinum-selling genre staple Wonder What's Next and the 2004 gold-selling follow-up This Type of Thinking Could Do Us In which debuted #8 on the Billboard Top 200. The releases that followed held their own against the ever-changing faces of popular music for the time. 2007's Vena Sera reached #2 for rock album on the Billboard charts. 2009's release Sci-Fi Crimes reached #6 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the alternative charts. 2011's Hats Off to The Bull reached #5 on the Billboard Top 200, 2014's La Gargola debuted #3 on the Billboard Top 200. Most recently, 2016's The North Corridor album debuted #8 and soon reached #2 on the Billboard Top 200. La Gargola and The North Corridor both debuted #1 on the Billboard rock charts with The North Corridor vinyl release reaching #7 on the Billboard top 25 Vinyl charts. Chevelle released a B-sides and rarities collection titled 12 Bloody Spies in October 2018 while they wrote and recorded their much anticipated 9th studio album. This next album release, set for 2020 will be sure to add another chapter to the extensive catalog of this successful music career.

"You don't want to repeat yourself," affirms Sam. "We want to seize something different with each song. Every record has to take on its own identity. As an artist, you have to progress and evolve." As they continue to master their craft, Chevelle take on the critics and prove time and time again that they a force to be reckoned with.

chevelle is one of the greats

by noemic on 9/20/09Starland Ballroom - Sayreville

they bring a whole new definition of music to the table. I love music, but they awaken every particle of me and i feel weightless while they play. i have never been a person to have favorites, or to care at all about the faces beyond the music but they really reach into me and say with a melody and a harmony what i feel that i could never put into words. i could only hope to feel the joy of hearing my voice carry through a microphone and know that i could give just one person the joy i feel when i hear them play. i will love chevelle forever.

by BFG44 on 9/20/09Bourbon Street Ballroom - Baltimore

I went to my first concert on Saturday September 19th to see Chevelle at the Bourbon Street Ballroom, but came away more impressed with Halestorm's performance.

    Chevelle Rocked my world

by BaltimoreRocker on 9/20/09Bourbon Street Ballroom - Baltimore

This was my first Chevelle show and although the Ballroom was not the best place to see the show (difficult to see from some vantage points) I was thrilled with Chevelle's performance. Halestorm was awesome too, if you do not know this band, I recommend you show up a little earlier to catch their act. Very talented crew, and down to Earth. Overall, I rate this show as awesome, go check it out, just make sure you wear some protective footwear!

    Chevelle was loud and awesome

by alexXXX on 9/20/09Bourbon Street Ballroom - Baltimore

This was my first concert ever and i must say i was speechless. When After Midnight Project was over i thought they were pretty decent but after Halestorm i was thinking that it was going to be hard to out preform that. Then Chevelle did not let me down and played an epic set. Singing to "The Red" and head banging to :Forfeit" just made my night and i am very excited to see them in concert again sometime....CHEVELLE IS GODDDDDD

by Hedflux01 on 9/20/09Bourbon Street Ballroom - Baltimore

Ive never seen chevelle play before. The concert was amazing. I havent had that much fun in quite a long time. Whenver i go to a concert some piece of my clothing always seems to get ruined. This time it was my jeans that riped. It was an amazing show. They played all theyre good songs and even some older ones from way back in the day.

    Narly show!

by Bvwa on 9/20/09Bourbon Street Ballroom - Baltimore

So awesome. I love chevelle. This is my 4th time seeing them and they were still great! The crowd acted a little nuts but thats to be expected. The Bourbon Street Ballroom in Balitmore, MD is also great. There is plenty of room, even though the show was sold out. Great performance guys!

    Chevelle Rocked It Out

by DMazz on 9/20/09Bourbon Street Ballroom - Baltimore

Chevelle completely rocked the house last night. This was my first time seeing them in an intimate setting - but my ninth time seeing them overall, and in a jam packed room of Chevelle fans, they ROCKED. They had great energy and you could tell they thoroughly enjoyed being on stage FOR the fans. They had the crowd revved up and kept the pits going all night. An all out great time.

    Chevelle was fantastic!

by River on 9/19/09Starland Ballroom - Sayreville

Burn Halo took the stage first and have greatly matured as stage performers since we saw them last with Korn. They were great and took control of the room! Halestorm came on next--ho hum. Wish the girl would stand aside so she wouldn't block the drummer, who's so crazy to watch! In our opinion, Halestorm should have opened with Burn Halo in the second spot right before Chevelle. Then Chevelle came out--for 3 guys they take the place down! The sound was great! They played their new songs between their old greats and we couldn't stand still! They came back for a few more songs, but I wish they would have come out a second time--we wanted more!

by ixel on 9/19/09Starland Ballroom - Sayreville

This is my second time seeing Chevelle live; the first time was back when their first album came out. Since then, they have been one of my fav bands. I love their music, especially their unique lyrics! They really had the fans jumping and rocking out- no one was sitting still!! They really know how to engage the audience. It was such a great night!!

    Chevelle rocked, of course

    by Jet10 on 9/19/09Starland Ballroom - Sayreville

Aside from the hour it took before the first opening band even came on, everything about the show was great. The openers had a lot of energy and good song selection. Set changes were faster than they've been in the past. The crowd was crazy and fun and rocked hard, yet were respectful. I liked the 3 minute drink special--they should do that more often!

    Tearing The House Apart

by TheSilentRapture on 9/19/09Starland Ballroom - Sayreville

I was always a fan of Chevelle, but just how big a fan I am changed after this show. They rocked hard and relentlessly. Their song choices were a good mix of the old and the new, which appealed to fans who might have only known a few songs. Even other small things, such as the lighting effects, the backdrop, and the prerecorded intros to highlight the setting of their newest album, added much to the overall experience. I would definitely consider it one of my top 10 concert experiences. Burn Halo and Halestorm who opened for them were both amazing as well, and got the crowd worked into a frenzy for Chevelle to come out and take advantage of.
