About

Chevelle on Tour

Chevelle is the understated musical powerhouse who have continually delivered rock anthems for the past 24 years. 7 number one hits, 17 songs reaching the top 10 charts, over 4 million records sold in the USA and many more world wide. Platinum and gold albums across their 8 studio records and successful live CD and two live DVD releases completes their extensive body of work to date. It's all credit to their continuing dedication to be true to their craft, the genre and their fans. Chevelle's last two album releases, La Gargola and The North Corridor, both debuted #1 on the Billboard rock charts at #3 and #8, respectively, on the Billboard top 200 charts. With no signs of this Chicago alternative rock trio slowing down any time soon, their numerous chart topping releases have certainly earned this band a place in American rock music history.

After more than two decades together, numerous releases, and countless world wide tours, the outfit consisting of brothers Pete Loeffler [guitars, vocals], Sam Loeffler [drums], and brother in-law Dean Bernardini [bass, vocals] have confidently sailed through decades of uncharted waters and have emerged with a collection that's equally intricate and intimate.

Certainly it builds upon the group's impressive foundation, including the 2002 platinum-selling genre staple Wonder What's Next and the 2004 gold-selling follow-up This Type of Thinking Could Do Us In which debuted #8 on the Billboard Top 200. The releases that followed held their own against the ever-changing faces of popular music for the time. 2007's Vena Sera reached #2 for rock album on the Billboard charts. 2009's release Sci-Fi Crimes reached #6 on the Billboard Top 200 and #1 on the alternative charts. 2011's Hats Off to The Bull reached #5 on the Billboard Top 200, 2014's La Gargola debuted #3 on the Billboard Top 200. Most recently, 2016's The North Corridor album debuted #8 and soon reached #2 on the Billboard Top 200. La Gargola and The North Corridor both debuted #1 on the Billboard rock charts with The North Corridor vinyl release reaching #7 on the Billboard top 25 Vinyl charts. Chevelle released a B-sides and rarities collection titled 12 Bloody Spies in October 2018 while they wrote and recorded their much anticipated 9th studio album. This next album release, set for 2020 will be sure to add another chapter to the extensive catalog of this successful music career.

"You don't want to repeat yourself," affirms Sam. "We want to seize something different with each song. Every record has to take on its own identity. As an artist, you have to progress and evolve." As they continue to master their craft, Chevelle take on the critics and prove time and time again that they a force to be reckoned with.

by jholly36 on 9/13/09Duquoin State Fair - Duquoin

Chevelle was awesome! The grandstand was packed. We really enjoyed the show and the Fair is a great place to see concerts. Make sure you get the middle sections, though, for the best view. Chevelle ROCKS!

    Bands were awesome, venue SUCKED!

by beckymc78 on 9/5/09Duquoin State Fair - Duquoin

This was a great concert. We were so close to the stage that the view was amazing. Rehab opened things up and was incredibly high energy. This was the 3rd time I have seen Chevelle and they were great as usual. The downside to the event was the venue. They changed the time of the show, they didn't open the gates on time, and they had over-zealous State Police officers pushing people around, literally.

    Moshpit Perfect

by JosephYannessa on 8/19/09Hooligans Music Hall and Pub - Jacksonville

I was at there concert at Hooligans Pub in Jacksonville and it has been the best concert i ever attended. They played the best songs they had in a very well chosen order and the moshpit thrashed through the entire hour and a half they performed. The chrowd roared when they finished their last song and chevelle came back out for an encore. Their moshpit was much better than Rancid, Nonpoint, Thrice, and even Rise Against, even though they're practically my favorite band (it was close)

Chevelle was great...venue not so much...

by Lovetojam on 7/13/09Chameleon Club - Lancaster

This was the first time I've seen Chevelle, they're one of my favorite bands, and I wasn't disappointed with the show, although the heat in the venue was almost unbearable!! I've been to the Chameleon Club many, many times, and although it is usually quite stuffy, this was unbelievable! There simply was NO AIR moving at all, and by the time Chevelle was half way through their set, I was litterally SOAKED in sweat. Pete even commented on how "balmy" it was onstage, and we were shoulder to shoulder on the floor. There were no fans blowing, nothing. I almost passed out. Had it not been for the great show taking place, I would have left all together! I was hoping (being that it was my first Chevelle show) that they would play a few more of my faves (Point #1, The Fad, Brainiac) but they did play I Get It, Get Some, Vitamin R and The Clincher, so I was pleased! They are on the Stimulate This tour with Shinedown right now, and stayed pretty true to that setlist, but added a few more tunes. Love the new song "Jars" and can't wait for the album in September! Cameras aren't allowed at the Chameleon, which sucks, and Pete could've been miked up better, as he was sometimes a little hard to hear, but all in all it was a great show!

Second time seeing them perform, love them, great venue. Only advice would be to get better openers like Breaking Benjamin.

    Chevelle in the balmy Chameleon

    by 3daysaside on 7/12/09Chameleon Club - Lancaster

Concert was fantastic -- long, long (16 songs or so) set -- they played all the radio play songs and some of my faves of their CDs. Great venue, awesome band!

Chevelle was good, The Drama Club was Amazing

    by RayRay76 on 7/12/09Chameleon Club - Lancaster

I went to this show for a friend, she loves Chevelle, I have heard them before, they put on one good show, roughly one and a half hours. Very full sound for a three piece band. The surprise was the opening act The Drama Club, only played 6 or 7 songs but they were amazing...check them out.

    Sizzling!!!

    by Rachellynn523 on 7/12/09Chameleon Club - Lancaster

Literally & figuratively! The Chameleon Club has 3 floors and we were on the ground floor less than 5 feet from the stage. It was absolutely roasting down there so I can't imagine what the poor under 21 people on the upper 2 floors were going through! Pete even commented on how 'balmy' it was in the club, haha!! Aside from that and the asinine male neanderthals who found it absolutely necessary to try to mosh in this tiny place (I mean seriously, save it for an outdoor venue where you won't trample the ladies or knock them down ~ that's just bad form), the show was unrivaled in its fantastic-ness:) Chevelle played an amazing set, simply amazing. I couldn't have asked for better. The energy was great. Bottom line: Chevelle = Delicious:)

    Great show / Bad Venue

by crisp on 7/12/09Chameleon Club - Lancaster

The over 21 section was downstairs for this show for some reason. typically it is upstairs. Chevelle rocked. Although if you were all the way in the back the sound was pretty lame. Not nearly loud enough. The Chameleon closed last year for 2 months for renovations, but they need to renovate their sound system. Chevelle played 3 new songs, all of them rocked. i give the performace a 9/10 and the venue 4/10.

Chevelle Rocks The Venue LIke No Other!

by EMDWC on 7/12/09The Venue - Hammond

Who said that luck only runs in horseshoes or hand grenades? Well, I gotta tell you about our fortunes in seeing one of our favorite bands this late spring. Chevelle was the absolute bomb at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, IN!! We had second row seating at the Venue that was slightly elevated off the floor. We could comfortably sit during the show and view the stage above the pulsing pit crowd rocking to Chevelle's explosive energy The band also debuted many of their new songs from their upcoming new album that they will release later this summer or early fall. It was a great show, and we look forward to adding the new album to our collection.
