CHET FAKER Concert Schedule and Tour
With major acts like Cut Copy and Empire of the Sun emerging from Australia's electronica scene, it’s no surprise Chet Faker hails from Down Under. Creating the perfect music to chill out to, his soulful vocals are the highlight of his shows and add an organic twist to music based on looping beats and synth keyboards. Chet Faker's 2014 headlining tour in support of his debut album Built on Glass is sure to bring venues to capacity like Summit (Denver) and the Depot (Salt Lake City), and will have fans dancing to his seductive beats all night long.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Paying homage to one of his many influences Chet Baker, Nicholas James Murphy put his own spin on the jazz trumpeter’s name with his new alias. His debut EP under the moniker, 2012’s Thinking In Textures, generated significant buzz with a unique cover of Blackstreet’s "No Diggity,” topping the HypeMachine charts and becoming a viral sensation. Since then, Faker has proven to be a diverse talent, collaborating with fellow Australian producer Flume on his Lockjaw EP and remixing artists like the Temper Trap and MS MR. The ARIA Award winner gave fans two reasons to rejoice in 2014: he dropped his debut full-length album Built On Glass that’s smashing barriers between analog and digital, and he’s embarking on a massive international tour.

Plenty of space to move. Chet rocked the show. Was a lot of fun, without being too rowdy :)
Absolutely incredible show. Chet Faker is so talented and a fabulous performer.
Chet Faker is a very talented musician with good stage presence and a diverse set of influences. Also, Terminal 5 has particularly good influences. Not the ideal show for people looking to get turnt but fun all the same.
amazing show - acoustic, lighting and the CROWD! Chet Faker brought live music back to life!
Chet Faker is a great entertainer, and is just as good live as he is on recording. He can move a crowd to excitement easily, and appears very into the music he's playing. His sound is ethereal and the concert itself was amazing.
This guy is so talented. Love his music and lyrics. A combo of mellow and getting under your skin to move to the rhythym.
the staff at the venue were so nice and Chet Faker played an incredible show. I ended up going the next night also! xxyyxx was unbelievable also! i would definitely see them again!
The lighting was amazing. The amount of hours was also reasonable.
Great tunes!!! Had a blast only complaint was it was a little tight.
I chilled my butt off. The atmosphere was very relaxing, yet it was an awesome gig.
Chet Faker puts on an incredible show! Great energy, and awesome lights.
Fantastic performer and so captivating - very down to earth and has a true appreciation for his music and his craft
I was looking forward to this concert but it was just a disappointment. The doors were open at 8 p.m. but Chet Faker was on stage at 11 p.m. before him there was a very bad music which made me feel sleepy. This is the last time I will go to Chet Faker concert.
the venue allowed for the show to feel really intimate. he has a great stage presence and his music sounded great. god, i love his voice. would def recommend his fans to see him live!
First time seeing Chet Faker and it was very good. I wasn't much of a listener before I came to see what the hype was about, and I must say that I am a listener now. It's the kinda show where you want to listen to him more after. He starts off with a few of the more chill tracks on the album and then breaks into a sweet instrumental / electronic set. Then he goes into his more energetic tracks and encores with the expected. Overall, this show was amazing and I encourage you to go if you are on the fence about whether or not his talent matches up with the hype.
Seriously one of the greatest concerts I've been to in a while. Chet Faker is extraordinarily gifted.
Great venue. Great artist. Love Chet's gravely voice and style.
Unbelievable show from Chet. He is so talented and put on an amazing show. He sounds so good live and did a lot of really creative stuff on stage. The performance itself was definitely 5 stars. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because the crowd was horrible. Everyone was pushing and trying to barrel through to the front. Definitely not the vibe I wanted for such an awesome show but the music was still incredible.
Chet faker put on one of the greatest shows ive seen. Amazing musicians very talented with their instruments and they really connected with the crowd.
Chet Faker was absolutely great. His show was intimate, he talked to the audience and really seemed psyched that so many people were supporting him. Between songs he'd talk a little about his music or the tour and it was engaging and sweet. He stayed after to take pics with the audience. His supporting band was great. His songs are just beautiful. I really just love his voice--super sexy and gravelly. He ended with a new song. I love Brighton Music Hall as a venue. Great staff, great view no matter where you're standing. The opening act was a total SS. Their name had something like psychedelic tie-dyed in there. It was long and not memorable. A rapper supported by a DJ, a sax, and a backup singer. The backup singer seemed to be singing to her own beat and not involved in the music and she was off key. The sax player had no shirt on and while he was good, it just didn't mesh well. The whole crew was trying too hard to be hipsters and it was distracting. And their music was not good. Too disparate. Like 4 different soloists on stage. Then they got off stage and were super distracting for the rest of the show. Dancing like crazy people with no shirts on. Yikes.
