Fun in person and get to see some very talented players up close.
Great to watch pro soccer in charlotte! Lots of great vendors, and the seats were well worth the price.
If you love "the beautiful game," then seeing professionals play in an intimate setting is fantastic.
Good game, was hot though Big crowd made it nice, good atmosphere hard to hear announcements and lineups. Need better sound system
Very well organized evening, easy to get to overflow parking and able to walk back after the game. All the employees and volunteers were very helpful and explained how to get around. They do need to have a better sound system, was not able to hear or understand a lot of the goings on. Only negative which was surprising seeing as they were sponsors... They ran out of beer... A no-no at a Soccer match.
Great People, intament venue, awesome soccer. This is the way to build an MLS team.
The game itself was very entertaining. The fans were true fans and Charlotte Independence even has their own fab club. However, I wouldn't necessarily call Ramblewood Soccer Complex a "complex". It's very much a high school sports field with bleachers (though I don't think there is actually a high school here) (with exception of the VIP seating area). Also, keep in mind that these are cold, metal bleachers that emit an extremely loud sound when there are 5 little boys stomping their feet continuously behind you. There were several food/beverage trucks on-site with great food/drinks--but remember to bring cash (though they do have 2 ATMs on-site). The only thing that bothered us was the $10 parking. Depending where you're sitting, it's almost as much as a ticket and about a 1/4 mile walk to the stadium from the gravel parking area.
Charlotte is a solid team this year. I hope management has what it takes to see them through to a successful MLS expansion team.
Although the tickets were reasonably priced, this outing is too expensive. Parking is $10 for a minor league soccer game at a Meck County park, ridiculous. Then if you're an adult and want a beer, which they advertise as a biergarten and is not, get ready to spend $7 for a 10 oz. Overall, the game is what you come for and it was okay. Competition was good and what I expected but, whoever sets pricing thinks we are a Panthers game and not a minor league soccer game at a public park. If prices were to be reasonable, I may think of returning but, until then, I won't be back.
