Took advantage of the throw back ticket price and had a great time. Lines for food moved quickly, very appropriate for kids and adults. The mascot was kind and friendly to my baby girl who was so excited to meet him! I’ll return for another game!
The Checkers were on a roll for this game. Very glad they are in the Bojangles Coliseum. Makes for a more intimate experience and the entire crowd gets into the game. No wine and cheese bunch here. Just great hockey that is super Family Fun!! Definitely will be going back. We really enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to our next outing.

Realised right after i bought the ticket it wasnt a utica game but a road game im a comets fan in utica tried to get a refund a minute after 6 hours before the game but was denied 40 bucks for nothing
This was probably my 1st large indoor events post-COVID. I was well run and very casual. Parking was greatly improved, not just from getting in but getting out. Getting out was a total breeze.
Great time good seats with there was more scoring with a 1-0 game
We love going to see the Charlotte Checkers. So much fun. Great seats at a good price. Fun for the whole family or a date night.

Arrived a bit early, plenty of parking. Friendly staff. The arena is an older one, but they are doing a great job at maintaining it and updating it. Seats are wide and comfortable. Traffic getting out was ok. My biggest complaint would be that they dont sell alcoholic seltzers.
The entertainment during the game was a blast, the team just wasn’t great. Wednesday is Dollar Beer Night so, go on a Wednesday.

Definitely recommend the Red Line Grill restaurant. The players have to walk through the middle of it to get to the ice. The staff did a great job getting the kids involved with that process. Don’t recommend sitting too low to either side of the benches, because you will have difficulty seeing the other end if the ice.
Took my family to Cirque du Soleil performance at Bojangles Coliseum in January. My 16 year old who “doesn’t like sports” was curious about the history of the old arena and it’s current uses. When I told him that our local, minor league hockey team uses the arena he said he’d like to go. WHOA!!! Took him and we both had a blast! Saturday afternoon game with a nearly packed house. Great energy and a sudden death overtime finish (sadly the Checkers took an L). We’ll definitely be back!
Had a great time at the Charlotte-Hartford hockey game. Bojangles arena is a nice place to watch hockey. Concessions and the pricing good as always. To top it off Charlotte won a very exciting game. Will definitely go again.
For a Family Experience Food and Beverage should be affordable not a rip off
The process of buying the tickets was good, but I was trying to buy tickets in a specific row and got through the whole process to the end and then it said other fans beat me to it.. Then I had to go back and re do the whole process of entering all of my information and everything. It didn't ruin the experience at all it was just annoying. But everything else was good! The game was good and getting in to our seats was quick and getting food and drinks was quick also!
We enjoyed the game a lot! Tickets weren’t too expensive and brought some friends. Had two small toddlers who enjoyed themselves as well! Hope to be back soon!
Never been to an afternoon game before, also my sons first game. What a blast! Great game, team was on fire. Only way it can of been better is if I would've scored with my Chuck a Puck!
