I sat in section 105 row I. The game was awesome! It was VERY exciting. Lots of fighting and goal scoring! The seats were amazing, we were up pretty close to the ice. Lots of entertainment through out the entire game.
I bought my husband tickets to see the checkers for his birthday so that he could take our son which is four to his first hockey game. Our tickets was for section 107 Row E, seats 8,9, & 10. Very close to the ice so that our son could see the game. When we sat down we though this is great, but that quickly changed. We where right beside the Bojangles Fan zone, what a mistake. Through the 1 period and part of the 2 period we had people trying to get to the fan zone by comeing through our row or the row in front of us, in which blocked our view of the game, this was a constant problem and very upsetting. At one time someone came by and tripped and spilled beer on my son (I was not a happy person at this point.) I felt like my son missed a lot by all these people walking in front of us. This problem needs to be corrected.
The seats were very well priced and it was alot of excitement!
Me and two of my girlfriends went to Pink In The Rink for "Girl's Night". We had a blast! It was a great game and the mood in the arena was awesome. Thanks for supporting Pink In The Rink!!!
I had a great time at my first hockey game! I would definitely go to another Checkers game.
This was the first ever midnight charlotte checkers game, and my first hockey game, it was fantastic, we had alot fun and the game was great
Great game! Checkers were down by one until the second period when they tied it up and then finished off the Stingrays with two goals in the third. Lots of action, lots of hitting and great saves!
We had great seats and the crowd was loud. Glad the checkers won
We were promised a free t-shirt, but they turned out to change the deal so only the first, i think, 5,000 people would get one. When we went to customer service at "The Slapshop", the people there were very polite and understanding when we didn't get our free t-shirts. There was a very good, exciting atmosphere. Security was understanding, and didn't mind if our friends and family moved up, closer to our seats. Teddy Bear Toss Night was drowned out by a zero-goal showing by the Checkers. The announcer understood, and let fans throw their teddy bears at the end of the game. Though fan-friendly, the Checkers have a rather aggressive style of play. It seems that the fans wanted fights more than goals. There were many fun competitions inside the game like, fan dance-offs, and trivia about hockey. Overall, it was a good experience. Clean facilities, cooperative staff, and the best sport in the world, made this event fun to attend to.
Great experience using will call. Would do this again. Game was great!
The game was great. Fast paced and enjoyable. Not too crowded. The seats sucked. We sat right behind the visiting team, which totally blocked our view. Those seats should have come with a warning. We finally got up and stood at the bar area so we could see better. The food was also a little costly. All in all I would recommend going to a game.
The game against the Kalamazoo Wings was great! They were a very matched team and the excitement didn't stop...they even went into overtime and a face off. Which if you have ever seen hockey before that's a rare event. Very recommended - I will be back for another game!! Go Checkers!

Great seats, Great game. Entertainment factor was very high from the National Anthem to the Great Finish. A Highlight was the swearing in of the new Army Recruits between periods.
Great game, only my second one in two years, will need to go more often...bought some cool clothing items, and took the Lynx rail, I will never again drive downtown, awesome, fun, fantastic.
The game is always fast paced and exciting! I looked around me and saw alot of families enjoying affordable fun together. All of the events during intermissions were entertaining as well.
The after Christmas promotion is a FANTASTIC deal. Tickets for $10! The game wasn't much to watch, 0-3 Fla. But we had a good time.

The Saturday night game (12/26) game was my families first and last hockey game. A native Detroiter I KNOW Hockey and the Checkers Players were NOT hockey players, they were elephants on skates. Terrible is all I can say. In addition since we bought our tickets on-line via ticket master we were promised T-Shirts. We were second in line to get them and they refused to give them to us because we had no voucher. We talked to 10 people and got 10 different stories, none of them matched up and in the end we received no t-shirts, and walked out midway through the 2nd period because the Checkers played midget hockey at best. Very Poor fan service, and fan treatment off the ice and a very poor product on the ice. We will NEVER go back. Welcome to single-A Hockey Town were we want your money and not your return business.
The event was terrific. However, Ticket Master ran a promotion for a free T-shirt for the 1st 1500 people in the door and that did not happen. We had 3 disappointed children and 2 disappointed grandparents.
