Ive seen many shows at BAC and decided to bring my cousins to this once since they introduced me to BBS last year. They were blown away by the venue. Small and intimate with great sound. The show was fantastic. The seated format for the audience and Charlie works well for such a small venue. We are already making plans for next year.

Beautiful venue for perfect intimate music experience. As always Charlie and Benji did not disappoint.

This is twice I have seen Charlie Starr and Benji Shanks at this location. LOVED IT both times!

I loved the show. It was a great small venue that made it very personal. The show truly showcases the pure talent of Charlie Starr and Benji Shanks. The pre-show band, Striking Copper was excellent. Only issues was the venue was very cold and the chairs were uncomfortable. In a venue where staying seated is required…..might want to make seats a little more comfortable to stay in.

Always a pleasure getting to see these two in such an intimate setting. Charlie's banter, singing & both of their guitar playing is top notch. Do yourself a favor & check them out if they come to a town near you!

Fans of Blackberry Smoke always get a wonderful show with great music. Tune down the volume and fun to pure talent and you've got Charlie Starr and Benji Shanks in an acoustic show. It does not get any better than this folks. You get BBS favorites, everyone's favorites, and new music. The January 2023 show at Buckhead Theatre had a guest appearance by two members of the Black Crowes. This is talented guitar music played by outstanding musicians. Charlie sings, Benji smiles, and we have a night to remember. I truly believe these guys love these shows and the audience does too.

Charlie and Benji entertained the attentive crowd for two hours that felt like 15 minutes. I could have listened for another two hours easily. Set up like a jam session in a living room, the intimate setting provided the perfect backdrop for the duo’s of acoustic blues, soul and Blackberry Smoke classics, along with Charlie’s humorous stories and song introductions. Loved Little Hopes, the opener with Sydney Rhame and Brock (per Charlie’s wry quip: “Them good lookin’ Shanks boys”) Shanks. Charlie and Benji were joined by Sven (Black Crows and wife Martina for some beautiful vocal harmonies. The highlight of the evening was when Brother Brit Turner joined them (to a standing ovation) to lay down some percussion for the three song encore. This is real music made by real people, a rare treat these days! Looking forward to seeing them again next weekend in Macon.

Such a great performer, artist, and showman. Charlie just keeps getting better. Charlie Starr and Benji Shanks acoustic performance is one of my favorite shows of the year. It’s a privilege to watch such artistry.

Charlie Starr is fantastic performer and one of the best in the business! A True American Musical Genius! I love his kind spirited heart! I've seen the band many times from Wilmington to Jersey to South Carlina to Tennesse! Always have a blast as the guys deliver a great show every time. Charlie and Benji as a duo was a very special treat that I wasnt expecting! I went both nights this week in Wilmington, NC at the Brooklyn Arts Center and was completely thrilled with every mi utes of it. See them if you ever get the chance as its a once in a lifetime treat and I will never forget it! Thanks to all involved in making the event possible especially to Charlie and Benji for making the drive to Wilmington!

Charlie and Benji are always great to see. Great personalities and was held a a very nice venue. If you haven’t seen Blackberry Smoke or Charlie’s acoustical show, you need to do both. You will not regret it.

Charlie Starr front man of Blackberry Smoke is an incredibly talented musician. If you ever get to go see his acoustic show I highly recommend it! And the Band Blackberry Smoke is also full talented musicians! ✌️❤️💨🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

Charlie Starr always gives a great performance. Benji and Charlie did and amazing job again!

Played from 9pm to almost 11pm, including encore Ain't much left of me. Very entertaining. they played numerous Blackberry smoke songs and other songs, starting with hank williams. Charlie did all the singing and talking. he also told several stories about back story on some songs. Venue was very nice. no waiting at bar. 24 oz beer was about $15 but good. parked behind venue on early street. cost $20 cash only but only two minute walk to get there. did check my covid card and wanded me before entry so i felt safe while inside. overall, glad i went. finally, a big WAR EAGLE to Charlie.

I've seen these two do a few shows during hiatus between Blackberry Smoke tours. This year's show at the Buckhead Theater was the best one that I've seen! Great mix of originals, cover tunes, stories, and really touching to see Charlie's youngest son come out and perform with him for a couple songs.

First time at Buckhead Theater and truly loved every moment. The theater is beautiful and has a nice set up. Saw an acoustic show with Charlie Starr and Benji Shanks. The acoustics in the Theater were excellent. The performance was incredible and truly enjoyed every minute. Highly recommend this show and the venue.
