    Charice is beautiful!

by Chacaroy on 11/5/12Neal S Blaisdell Arena - Honolulu

II love Charice, no doubt about it. I watch her videos every day for two hours at least before going to bed. They are medicinal and therapeutic. They bring the world together. I've seen her twice at the Mandalay Bay, 2010 and 2011. I've watched all of her infinity concerts on YouTube. I didn't like her new look. But seeing her in person in Honolulu, I’ve changed my mind. I was awe-struck when she appeared on stage. She is very beautiful with it. Still, I miss all of the previous Charice looks. Her sultry look at the 2010 Mandalay Bay is my sentimental favorite. She also looked very pretty at the Mondavi Winery concert and at the Infinity album debut concert in Japan. I also won’t forget her cute Doraemon look. Her look at the David Foster show in Manila has sneaked up on me; it is rapidly becoming my favorite. I find it amazing how she comes up with so many different looks and makes each one an icon. I hope she never reaches her potential; I want her to continue to evolve. But, alas, soon her true identity will be revealed as her wings evolve and her halo begins to show, and she flies back to Heaven having accomplished her mission on earth. I enjoyed the concert completely. The songs she sang were mainly pop rock for the younger generation. But most in the audience were, based on eyeballing, older people like me. Charice attracted older people at the very beginning of her career. This was an unplanned but ingenious way to start. I don't think they will ever abandon her for going into rock. The ballad she sang at the end, before the encores, to me was the highlight of the night. She showcased her angelic voice, the way she did with David Foster. In rock, she is in competition with others; in rhythm and blues, she has no peers.

    Loved Chariice's Performance

by HIBornFilipino on 11/5/12Neal S Blaisdell Arena - Honolulu

I've always loved Charice's voice - strong and beautiful! The show was enjoyable. What was a turn-off (for me) was when she started speaking filipino a little too much. I, and I'm sure many others (American born filipinos) didn't understand. She did translate alot to english (which was appreciated), but there was also alot she didn't translate. I just felt it wasn't fair to us non-speaking filipinos and also felt "left out". I loved her singing filipino songs and agree (with her) that filipino love songs are beautiful - even if I don't understand. Another part that was "different" from other concerts was the intermission after the opening performer. That was unusual. I heard the same comments from other customers. I also would have liked to have heard her sing more songs I could relate to.

    Charice is Amazing!!!

    by Sweetie27 on 11/5/12Neal S Blaisdell Arena - Honolulu

I totally enjoyed the concert. I even got teary eyed with some songs that she sang with so much feeling. She is so talented and her music is so diverse that she appeals to a wide range of audience, which I saw at the concert. I will definitely recommend her concert to family and friends.

    Charice was entertaining

by Kailiponi on 11/5/12Neal S Blaisdell Arena - Honolulu

Did enjoy show very much. Charice was very entertaining. Was used to her performing with David Foster and his type of music. Had to get used to her new change in music. Took my granddaughter, she enjoyed show very much. First time she got to see Charice and totally like her. My only disappointment was when she started talking to the audience in Filipino and focused onthem only. She needs to understand that there were a whole lot of non fiilipinos in the audience. We were lost whenshe just catered to the Filipinos. I understand that there were older Filipinos she needed to talk to for them to understand her songs and feelings, but she could have also translated in English what she was telling them. All in all good show. I would go again if she came back to Hawaii.

In general the concert was okay. Entertainment was awesome. But the transition could have been better and tardiness is not really excitable. (10 minutes okay but almost an hour is pushing it). Its awesome that she spoke Filipino but she needs to translate for the non-phillipino people... We would have love to laugh along too.

    Charice Was Okay

by ForHerNextConcert on 11/5/12Neal S Blaisdell Arena - Honolulu

I know Charice is a Great singer, I expected more from her concert. She didn't sing her best song: A Note to God. I realize she is Filipino, but she spoke her native language too much. She could have at least translated what she was saying so the rest of us would be in on what's she's talking about. My comments are only to give her thoughts about making her concerts better for everyone. I still consider her a great singer.
