Chance the Rapper on Tour
A live show from Chance the Rapper is a burst of sheer exuberance. The streaming-generation superstar and his powerhouse band blaze through a discography that's full of signature moments like "Angels," "Blessings" and "Same Drugs," as well as the songs he co-created with Kanye West and DJ Khaled. With a small ensemble of singers giving his set a gospel energy, it's a joyous, explosive performance. Chance originally got his tour legs opening shows on Childish Gambino's 2012 Camp Gambino Tour, but was soon launching treks of his own, including 2013's Social Experiment Tour, 2015's Family Matters Tour, 2016's Magnificent Coloring World Tour and 2017's Be Encouraged Tour. In 2017, Chance hit the festival circuit for a victory lap, appearing at Bonnaroo, Firefly, Hangout, Wireless, Essence Music Festival, Governors Ball, Sasquatch!, Boston Calling and Eaux Claires. That August, he headlined Lollapalooza in his Chicago hometown.
Chance the Rapper in Concert
Beam of hip-hop sunshine Chance the Rapper is one of the greatest independent success stories in the history of popular music — a chart-topping, Grammy-winning, festival-headlining, Saturday Night Live–hosting sensation, all without the help of a traditional record label. Born Chancelor Jonathan Bennett in Chicago, Chance began his rap dreams after hearing fellow Windy City rhymer Kanye West on the radio, and purchasing his debut album in fourth grade. In his senior year of high school he began work on his debut mixtape, 2012's 10 Day — named after he received a 10-day suspension. In 2013, he released the critically acclaimed Acid Rap, ending up on year-end lists for Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and Complex. The following year he turned up on the cover of the XXL Freshmen issue. After his collaborations on Kanye West's The Life of Pablo, Chance released Coloring Book in 2016 — together the two releases garnered him seven Grammy nominations and three wins. His 2017 collaboration with DJ Khaled, Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne and Quavo, "I'm the One" was the No. 1 song in the country. After years of conquering the industry with downloadable and streaming mixtapes, he finally released a traditional retail album, The Big Day, in 2019.

Chance The Rapper put out so many amazing vibes and left the crowd full of love.
He was amazing. He really connected on a personal level with the crowd.
Chance the Rapper was INCREDIBLE. It was way better than any other concert I have ever been to. He is a phenomenal artist. "Smoke Again" "Juke Juke" & "Chain Smoker" had the best performances. & when he slid in the "life round here" beat that was dope. The Social Experiment tour was EPIC.
Chance put on a great show. He had a live band which was awesome. He played most of the songs from Acid Rap and his energy was amazing. I would recommend checking out his show for sure.
Even though we waited a minute to see Chance, the show was everything. He kept the energy going by doing some of the slower songs first then followed up w/ the hype music. His stage presence was so different from any show I went to. 5 stars for Chance the Rapper. Please say the rapper.
Good show, good atmosphere. Was a little disappointed that there was no place to sit.
Chance was late to perform, but the wait was worth it. His performance was great, he sang incredibly and gave an interesting twist here and there. Cut always to movies gave a deep and interesting feel to the concert, and lots of physchedelic stuff! Chance gave a little speech near the end to show how much he loved performing for mizzou, and apologized for being late. Great concert! Wan to go to another!
Was more than I could have ever hoped for. He has easily worked his way up into my favorite rappers. Acid rap!!!!
Sooo dope. Brought out Migos. He sounds the same live and recorded. Great stage presence and production. Go see it. Bring him back to Atl at a bigger venue please.
This was an amazing show! Lots of energy. Fan involvement was great.Cant wait for him to come back.
Chance had an unreal amount of energy. I've been a big Chance fan for a while, so it was great to finally see him live. The crowd had a ton of energy, his setlist was awesome, the venue was very nice. Everything went very well.
Chance is a performer! His music isn't necessarily high energy music but when he performs it it gets the crowd going crazy. Best $20 I've ever spent. If you ever have a chance to go to a chance the rapper concert you have to go!
Showed up to the venue around noon, and Chance's tour bus pulls right up next to us. He hopped right out and didnt hesitate to come up and talk to us. I smoked a cigarette with him which was a very memorable experience. Come showtime, I was front row for the show. He was a great performer. Can't wait for him to come back.
Although the show said it started at 8, Chance didn't actually start rapping until 9PM and the show only went on until 10PM. During that one hour that he is rapping he hypes you up a lot and it was amazing the entire time. I thought it could have lasted longer, but it was still amazing regardless.
The concert was WILD! I LOVED it!, I hope Chance comes back to the DMV soon!!
I love Chance, but I think he still needs some practice when it comes to putting on a show. the whole night was just a little disjointed. Songs were cut off abruptly. The dead pause transition between the first few songs to the performance with the live band was long and awkward. Once the band came on stage, the energy was great, except Chance got a little lazy and wouldn't actually rap all his lyrics. I mean, its great that he has such a cult following already who know all the words to his song, but I went to the show to hear him, not the crowd. Overall, a fun time, but definitely not the best show I've ever seen.
It was amazingly awesome made waiting in the cold for five hours to be front row totally worth it, sucked that I couldn't buy a shirt cuz the credit card and ATM were down
